I think the price is too strong for the market, but someone will pay it.

That was my first thought too but I was thinking an old Ford straight six.  Some of those industrial engines’ outputs were hilariously low - right down there with a stock Insight - but they were essentially indestructible.

I’m fully on board with completely stripped down personal transportation. Every ounce you move that isn’t YOU is up for grabs: do you need it? Or do you just want it? Projects like this really dig into that, seeing how much minimalism can still yield satisfactory results. I love that kind of project and I’m genuinely

It’s a headscratcher for sure.

“New chunks” conveyed an image that is entirely too familiar.

Bodywork on my old truck.

That is a mighty fine engine. Mighty, mighty fine.

I LIKE it! It looks great, a very modern reimagining of a classically handsome sport coupe.

The original Jeepster weighed about 1200 pounds less than a new Wrangler; I bet the unmodified engine’s 270hp would feel pretty damned zippy in a Jeepster weighing only 2700 pounds.

I smell a big ol’ lawsuit in the offing.

For the record, the origin of the lawn as we now know it is specifically to be an ostentatious display of wealth. It is an area of land set aside for NO use, only to be a visible indicator that you are sufficiently well off that you don’t need pasture or fields, you can have land set aside just to have it.

If you could strap on a cape and fly to work, you would.

Son of a biscuit, I get that right everywhere else.

Lots of people packing in E TN, not inclined to get shot over a parking space.

You did see the part about situational awareness, right?
