There have been several but there are different metrics by which you can choose. Of the recent era I see someone else has already chosen the Roadmaster wagon, which is an obviously good choice if a bit on the mundane side, I think mostly because they’re still relatively fresh in memory.

Well yeah, but practically speaking it was like a bunch of intranets that could be goaded into talking to one another. In 1987 it was still mostly government and academic agencies and Compuserve message boards.

I am a fan of cab forward design. I’ve driven enough box trucks, longed for enough Type 3s, and had an absolute hoot in enough Toyota Vans that I know cab forward is the way to go. All man, no machine. Want access to the engine? Work that out later.

That can’t be right, there was no internet in 1987.  Heads have gotten harder since the internet, I’m certain of that.

Its safety features were sufficient in 1987.

Easy Nice Price. This thing will be gone at this price in two days, tops.

It weighs literally 1000 pounds less than a Camry, has less than half as much engine while being down only about 50 horsepower. Your comparison lacks perspective.

Well, the comparables appear to be all over the map, with some going a little beyond this one. But it has that desirable extra cargo space and the condition, especially considering as old as it is, appears to be very, very good.

It’s like the guy wanted a Camaro but couldn’t live without back seats and luggage space.

In the 80s, I thought the then-current MC resembled a hat more than anything else: a big, swaggery cowboy hat tipped low over the eyes, squinting into the sunset.

Solar charging isn’t viable unless the car that goes with it needs, like, NO power to get down the road. It’s why solar racers weigh next to nothing and have the drag coefficient of a wet pumpkin seed while presenting as much surface to the sun as possible.

More likely to be worth it, in my opinion, than this Dart is for its asking.  The SRT-4 was giving Goliath’s workout and supplements regimen to David and turning the results loose on the Philistines.

This one appears to have been hooned enough to acquire at least one scar.  That’s the scar we can see.  God only knows what else it’s been through.

Behold the racerboi. Observe the frantic wanking of his ego and desires.

My dad briefly had a gigantic Plymouth Satellite wagon when I was too small to be much interested in cars bigger than my hand. After that it was weird European compacts, Opel Kadett and SAAB 96 when everyone else drove something much bigger. That cemented my preference for smaller cars very early.

Guys it gets worse. I just looked, the car is on Atlanta CL but the car itself is in Tuscaloosa and the title is MISSING. If it’s genuine eurospec it may be a gray import and holy shit nobody needs that headache.

I have to wonder what he could mean by “not as bad as it looks,” because it looks like a horror movie basement.  Dated, filthy, and probably the scene of a crime or three.

I loved the E30s. Of all the Bimmers out there, those and the 2002 are pretty much the only ones I would seriously consider owning.

There is nothing desirable about this car.

The auto in the SVX was the 4EAT, perfectly reliable in my Forester in ‘98.  Earlier iterations I don’t know but mine never gave me any trouble.
