I don’t have a good answer for this. Yes, if the circumference is the same then the leverage on the driveline is the same, torque requirements don’t change etc.

It looks like Honda really worked hard at building a Camry.

I haven’t watched The Simpsons since about 1995, and I wasn’t an always-there fan then.

I bet your preference has limits:

Not an objective statement.

I disagree.

I agree.  If you could never see the outside of the car, there would be a LOT less for the marketers to sell.

That’s what optimization is about - the first and most important consideration is: what are you trying to optimize?

Taller wheels/shorter sidewalls was never a consideration for me.

In fairness the GSP is a frankly beautiful drive. I loved it.

It’s not often I encounter a word I don’t automatically know, and you used one.  Worse, I’ve seen it before and didn’t know it those times either, but I didn’t care enough to look it up at the time.  You have driven me to crack open the dictionary.

Tennessee has 176 distinct designs available representing assorted special interests, mottos and philosophies.

I always thought New Jersey should include the unofficial state motto on the plate:

At one time, it was Tennessee:

My mom loved her old Wrangler. Her new one, not so much. I did suggest the Forester, Mom.

This endeavour should launch like the Soviet N-1. There are many things that need defending, arguably a few of them may even be BMW features or design elements.

I hate it, but somebody will probably pay.

So I guess the last question to be asked is: intoxication or mental illness?  Even money either way.

I think the TT is one of those uncommon sport coupes that doesn’t appeal or cannot be made to appeal to the boy racer crowd. I don’t know about anywhere else but I absolutely never ever seen them modded where I live.

That’s a fair amount of motivation for not a lot of money. Good power, tossable little chassis, and the fact that the kids are grown and moved out means the microscopic rear legroom isn’t a deal killer.
