Your loss really. That song was everywhere for a few years, including several big teen movies. Your bands would have made some cash.

Easy as that! Time to sit back and relax, fellas.
And like, I get the point, you never see movies with 38 year-old women dating 22 year-old men (unless that was the plot of one of the Sex and the City movies, I legitimately don’t know), but show more of that, not less of this.
12 years? Hollywood has OFTEN done much, much worse.

I always figured they would use Scarlett Witch to do a reverse House of M, and were going to set it up in Wandavision by canonizing (in the MCU) her reality manipulation abilities.
The plague part is my favorite thing among all that I’ve read of King. It’s great, and this mini-series reduces it to a few people coughing, then everyone’s sick, then everyone’s dead and there are couple of weirdos in New York in Larry’ parts of the plot.
they changed “Hemingford Home” to a nursing home! Instead of a salt of the earth 100+ year old woman who is lives in a self sufficient pre modern homestead, she’s was just a poor woman left to die in a nursing home. it goes against the book’s original theme of how modern society’s technological advances were dehumanizi…
Someone described this show as flipping through a photo album of vacation pictures 20 years later. A lot of “oh yeah, I remember that” and some feeling of fond nostalgia, but absolutely no context as to why you feel that way, and pretty boring for people who weren’t on that vacation.
I'm amused that the 9th episode is a bonus prologue written by King to show us what happened to these characters, considering that by then we won't be any closer to caring who any of these people are.
It is astounding to me they already are on sending people to vegas and expect people to be invested in the three they send, when two were just introduced this episode and one briefly last episode. They just introduced the idea that Boulder knows of Flagg just at the tail end of last episode. It is soo bizarre.
Watching it feels like watching on fast forward - you can see and tell the beats but you miss the character build and depth. Except, sadly, those are just absent.
This show is easily the biggest disappointment of the year. I was looking forward to this and it is just..very poor. I have never seen a show this long that still really has zero character development. Harold is the only one that is not a sketch, and his portrayal is not exactly deep. His confrontation with the bandit…
So far, this series has been an amazing exercise in seemingly regurgitating scenes from a beloved book, but without any notion of WHY those scenes are important to the overall narrative.
Let’s use Larry Underwood’s early arc in NYC as an example. Larry is portrayed as a man on the sway between Good & Evil. He’s a…
