Which is why The Dark Knight is by far the best movie of the bunch, as you have dynamic characters in Harvey, Rachel, the would-be blackmailer, Lucius, and one static but very charismatic villain in the Joker as well as the nominal hero. Batman Begins and its actual sequel TDKR, however, focus on the static, dull,

The point is, there's always some kind of movement, unlike with Supes and Harley, who don't move, and Bruce, who learns that wanton murder isn't the way to do things. (Which isn't that bad in of itself, but he learns it all of a sudden in the space of a few moments, which means we're not rooting for him until the last

Can't take the nerdery, get out of the Club. ;)

They "busted arms dealers all the live long day" between IM3 and AoU, after Cap dismantled SHIELD in TWS.

Wrong. In IM1, he learned to think about the moral implications of his actions, but he was still a dick who didn't answer to anyone. In IM2, he started to gain respect for Nick Fury and SHIELD as a legitimate authority figure/presence beyond himself, and started an adult relationship with Pepper. In The Avengers, he

Meanwhile, TNT's The Last Ship is a fast-moving, exciting series about the aftermath of a global apocalypse that keeps doing new and interesting plots, and while not basking in Roddenberry-level humanism, definitely doesn't stoop to TWD's nihilism. Shout-out to Iron Man 3 there!

"Gizmodo’s Casey Chan enthusiastically reports on CineFix’s new video"

Certainly beats watching the show for the story or dialogue. :P

I don't think we're supposed to be "delighted" that Juliana killed George. The choice was that or letting him doom a kid to death, a lose-lose scenario. (And getting him killed would have done nothing for those already dead.)

And what would that have accomplished? One of his circle would have picked up the mission without a beat, and Joe'd be tortured to death. Morally laudable, maybe, but realistically pointless.

The American internment camps were a disgrace, no question, but to call them "little different" from those of the Nazis is going a bit far, I think.
