how powerful is this card when it’s at play? Also is a 9 grade the equivalent of a 9.8 for comic books?

We may never know the devastation wrought by the Lyft Wars in that timeline!

The Romulan agent lampshading this was pretty hilarious. “Goddammit, I thought I took care of this 30 fucking years ago but nooooo, the timeline just keeps kicking the can down the road!”

It seems they’ve completely retconned Spock mentioning in Space Seed that Khan rose to power and then he Botany Bay was launched in the 1990s.  It’s extremely funny to think about how in the episode of Voyager where they go back to the 90s and meet Sarah Silverman and Ed Begley Jr is the villain that just off screen

Yup, today is the day I realized I got old.

There are clear examples of grooming in this situation. It’s definitely a term that’s been loaded and misused in a lot of situations, but being in communication with an underaged fan and sending him underwear and asking sexual questions falls squarely under the term.

Eh, I don’t know if it’s grooming, but...

One of the files G’iah pulls up, in addition to Groot and the others, was Extremis. And the physical effects of the dose that Sonya injects into the guy during the interrogation seemed very much like that. So if the Skrulls are collecting information on something that she’s actually using, what does that say about

The kids putting the uniforms on for the first time to save all the slaves on the asteroid was amazing.

I can’t recall the source, but I believe the Picard rumor is partly true. Tuvok’s scene with Seven in the series finale, where she is promoted to Captain, was originally supposed to include Janeway and Harry Kim (also a Captain) as well. It was cut because Harry Kim can never be anything but an Ensign for budget

Did you even read the article linked in that first sentence?

This episode gave me a lot more confidence for the rest of the miniseries. Especially since they answered my question, how did we go from just a couple Skrulls left behind on Earth to so many, all angry at Fury?

Introducing new characters and new obstacles in a new show is... you know, the concept behind storytelling. “We don’t even know her name,” because we just met her, and we get to figure out how she figures into the story and what means as the story progresses

It’s good to remember that, reportedly, Janeway wasn’t allowed to appear in Picard s3 because she was considered exclusive to Prodigy. I forget if it was theorized or confirmed, but Tuvok’s appearances (especially the one at the end where Seven is promoted to Captain) may have originally been planned for Janeway. So

The funny thing about people bringing up Tuvix and discussing “was Janeway a murderer” (or likewise her actions that stranded the ship in the pilot episode) is that it’s indicative of how good of a character and how good Voyager was (or, well, could be at times). Nobody would keep bringing up Tuvix if the moral was

I love me a good Tuvix joke, but Janeway really was a fine character and Kate Mulgrew was exemplary in the role. It’s disappointing to see Prodigy go down this way.

Just some thoughts:

She is in the episode during the recapish thing at the beginning.  Even if it’s a replay of a scene from the previous episode, she still needs to be credited.

You’re surprised that the world’s secretest secret agent doesn’t talk about family members or loved ones that could be exploited and used against him? The guy who told Captain America not to trust anybody, and who was betrayed by, like, the one guy he considered a close friend (Alexander Pierce)? That’s a shock to you?

It’s another attempt to humanize a man who, for decades, has never made one mention of his wife.
