You couldn’t find a better picture than one of a lab in which they’re preparing to test things in rabbit’s eyes? Because that’s what that is.
It’s more than enough to buy yourself a modest work free retirement in the Costa Rica or Belize.
I once had a mentally unwell, likely homeless person present one of these to one of my tellers.

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve only seen a couple of episodes of AoT, so I’m not sure what kind of revelations come further in the series.
Agreed, if you watch the interview he is more saying humbly that “can you believe this little robot anime has made so much money?” using Robot Anime more as a diminutive and a broader genre term.
I think mostly what this suggests is that Hideaki Anno doesn’t really care about the difference between a robot or a cyborg or an artificially-grown humanoid fighting machine cloned from your dead mother’s DNA. To him, the phrase “robot anime” encompasses a larger genre of “big machine, boy pilot” stories, and in that…
I’ve been stalking him and telling him he looks like a rotting mackerel but that seems to make him uncomfortable too. You can’t win with this guy!
The irony is that Mass. used to be full of roundabouts, or “rotaries” as they were called, but they started getting rid of them because no one could seem to figure out how they work.
So I live in the area and thought about it for a second. I do know that stop sign, and I don’t know what it is about that intersection but when I drive there at night I always forget its there.
I’m in the US and my town has 4 recently-built roundabouts (with 2 more on the way) and it’s been... not great. Mostly because people are idiots. It’s like they come to this unfamiliar circular piece of road and everything they know about how to drive just vanishes from their heads. Most people come to a complete stop…
Oh I can assure you, drivers here can’t figure out roundabouts either, and there are a fair number in older towns like in DC. For all the noise we make about cars, we’re shit drivers.
Not really. Supplement, maybe. But the last four years was really just both at once.
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the car is angled into traffic and the wheel is turned waiting for the opportunity to make the left turn?
RV Driver: “Wow, this thing is really struggling.”
I wonder what the run-up time is to be in the fully capitalized business of vehicle destruction that lets you buy and destroy a TRX.
I mean, you probably start with @David Tracy’s $1 Kia, get some views, and move up the craigslist postings for new and interesting stuff to destroy.
But the TRX.... I mean, if he is…
I work in tech, mostly something akin to QA for the software and hardware my company produces, but because I’m at a level that’s not-quite developer and leagues beyond the majority of people I work with, I’m expected to know every-fucking-little-thing that our customers and installers touch, beyond our own products to…
so they really do just google shit with no thought or further research... i really shouldn’t be so hard on myself about my writing, clearly the industry doesn’t give a shit.
