I live in a rural area at the end of a dead-end street that is poorly lit, with about 100 yards of also unlit driveway between us and the street.

People voted for George W Bush because he seemed like a guy you could have a beer with.

It’s good that she understands the problem and has no malice towards Nintendo on this one. To answer the question posed in the article, the difference is largely optics (if she’s a big Tiktok entertainer then Nintendo would absolutely notice her more than random etsy or deviantart pages) and two her intent to

All the Americans being inadvertently racist with their weird US categorizations applied to Mediterranean cultures and this is the one take that actually thinks about it with something resembling a non-US-centric view.

So I have no clue if it’ll be a big deal, but hey, that’s the opinion I’d like to hear about.

I can’t wait to hear what Egyptians say o an Israeli playing Cleopatra.

If they could make high risk Dick Cheney survive five goddamn heart attacks, they make Trump survive Covid no matter how high risk he is.

They jumped the shark early too with Cubone wearing its dead mother’s skull. There was pretty much no turning back after that.

That makes sense, as (at least in the anime) it appears both Pokémon “evolve” when the slowpoke is bit, so it would make sense that the portion of the Pokémon that is/was shellder looks similar to a Cloyster... even if there originally was a different Pokémon that was the biter.

I always thought it looked more like Cloyster, if anything.

I feel like all the mysteries and leaks regarding the creation and concept of Pokémon, are way more fascinating than the series itself sometimes. Info like this, being apart of that!

Fun fact: The Pokemon that bites Slowpoke was not originally intended to be Shellder. It was once its own Pokemon but was cut for some reason, which explains why it looks nothing like Shellder.

Like the people you see in all the hoarder shows, they know it’s wrong, but they normalize it.

Do you think the people in the Pokemon Universe shrug off the inherent horrors and atrocities of their universe and easily we shrug off the ones in ours? They would have to, right?

i guess thats kind of my point. the article touches on how this was viral back when the internet was still nerd haven, people werent walking around with smartphones and facebook was just for college kids. it was a simpler time (teehee) but really i have my knowledge of the game and when i watched it i could tell it

I bought it because I have had that raid leader, just, the glorious king of dorks showing off his nerdery and treating each fight as the most serious of business.

But, Leeroy does show up again in the revamped Upper Blackrock Spire. You kill a boss and find his corpse (remarkably well-preserved for 8 years). If you rezz him, you have 15 minutes to clear out a large section of the dungeon, including the boss that has the shoulderpads he needs. Meanwhile, he stays were you found

There’s a fantastic little “nnnnnnnn” between the two words that just massages the back of your neck. “Leeeeeeeeeeroy nnnnnJeeeenkiiiiiinsss.”

I was in the top guild during the early days of WOW and during Molten Core runs[40 man raid] randomly a train of mobs would attack us. We had no idea why and it felt like a bug. Happened at least 15 times. Each time is like 20 minutes to reset up.

I think the reason it felt so believable to WoW players is because HOLY SHIT were there some stupid people playing that game. We’ve all experienced the joy of a Leeroy in our group at least once.
