Yeah, looks like they just got the Carbot guy to do it. Which is awesome. If you haven’t watched his Youtube series, you should.

To be fair, “commercial dishwashers” are essentially that. Due to my dad’s job, my parents live in a college-owned house with a commercial kitchen used for event catering, and the dish washer there is basically just a 2 minute steam bath.

My wife does this too. I don’t understand it.

It’s also not that hard to just remember. The “cousin number” measures horizontal distance. The “removal number” measures vertical distance. That’s all there is to it.

Ditto!

In case anyone’s interested, the Overwatch devs posted a cool video on the netcode subject.

Timesplitters 2 CTF mode was awesome....

I just saw Apocalypse, and it wasn't the strongest entry in the series, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

As a long-time Blizzard fan from RTS land, who’s pretty trash at shooters, but okay at MOBA, I thought this would be a fun way to try something new.

I recognize the name Tifa as being connected to the FF franchise, but my only firsthand connection to the franchise is watching The Spirits Within with subtitles at like 3am with friends in middle school, and being confused because the subtitles didn’t match the dialogue. Not everyone who plays games plays RPGs...

Which was...6 months ago?

“Swords and sorcery” is the term of art, iirc.

Deterministic time-travel doesn’t work either, because the implication is that humans don’t have free will, and there’s no reason to read heroism (or anything else) into the initial configuration of the universe (and laws of physics).

Oh the miracles that can happen when you don’t live in New England...

“I like to play games that require an aimbot to be fun”

p.s., absolutely watch the One-Shots in chronological order with everything else, because they set up some peripheral characters in S.H.I.E.L.D., whose story arcs pack more punch if you’re already familiar with them when they show up in the movies/shows.

Or for, you know, parents who have small children of the opposite gender, and other such considerations that make strict enforcement of gendered bathrooms a pain.

Though, my understanding is that, oddly enough, one of the few ways the TSA isn’t terrible is that you can ask for pat-downs to be performed by an officer of the gender you identify as (and not necessarily what is on your ID/ticket)
