You must have really liked that vampire one.

Why? I heard his ancestors had great taste!!!

Wasn't the King Alien pissed because they played the speech over the final episode of"Single Female Lawyer"?

I like to think of myself as Scotty in ST 4, but I named mine Computer as well.

The Alexas of the world now know how the Michael Boltons of the world feel.

Changed ours to Echo. It works well, and very rarely gets accidentally triggered; no idea why it would be considered, “impractically common.”

Sandler should have stepped aside for an actual trans actor.

Right - he’s especially attracted to women with a particular physical characteristic, but that’s not unusual. Some guys like big breasts, some like red hair, etc.

Oh you’re just an anti-trans person. Bye!

When his mom asks if he’s crying:

The scene between Thor/Hemsworth and Frigga/Rene Russo had me legit tearing up.

It’s funny to watch DeVito do all the things he does and go “Oh yeah, he’s also worked with David Mamet”. He’s a treasure, I hope he works until he’s 140.

He was apparently drinking quarts of melted ice cream daily to reach Fat Mac size, and I think Kaitlin Olson did an interview where she said he was wheezing in his sleep to the point where she was seriously concerned for his health.

Courtney Cox has said she really enjoyed “Fat Monica” because she could let loose and didn’t have to be so controlled. I found that incredibly sad.

That’s a good point. I guess I never thought Rocket’s jokes were meant to be funny. I always thought his character was more “I think I am making a joke but I am actually pointing out something seriously wrong” and he’s the only one who thinks its funny.

Its what made Rockets jokes about Thors body sting more than they were funny. Because you could tell Thor was actually depressed and thats why he had gained weight. Rockets jokes about Thor would have been funnier if Thor had gotten fat because he was pleased with himself and was resting on his laurels.

Does anyone remember that cringy trend of talkshow hosts being “brave” enough to sport fat suits in the real world? I vaguely remember Tyra crying because no one would help her at the makeup counter when she was in the body suit. Do you mean to tell me her stunning exposé did actually not solve the issue of weight

I think there is something to be said as well about how changes in weight are a very normal sign of deteriorating mental health. Thor wasn’t just fat, Thor was in an alcoholic depressive stupor. And they explored that (as much as they could for Marvel film anyhow).

The first time I watched End Game, I thought the fat suit was played for laughs. But watching it again, I had a different reaction. I think the fat suit works within the story and wasn’t really played up for laughs. As others have noted, as a result of some serious PTSD, Thor had gone from uber-active protector of Asga

I was going to say the same thing - seeing Thor as a hero, capable and strong, even though he was fat was meaningful to me.
