Since the character is LGBTQ and they’ve promised to again cast an LGBTQ actor, does the fact that the character is Jewish mean they need to find an LGBTQJ actor? (Seriously, did the character’s Judaism ever get mentioned on the show?)

Where do you look? IMDLBTGQ.com?
Oh, please no. Just recast, then have the first scene the new Kate shares with someone else start with “Did you change your hair?” and never refer to it again.
Soccer-anything is never a highlight of anything.
I’m 54 now but I attribute much of my shoulder arthritis to the hundreds of hours I must have furiously rolled that trak-ball. I loved that game...

I couldn’t narrow it down to only five roles if I tried. The biggest miracle is even when if felt like Fred Willard was just playing “a Fred Willard type,” it was always fresh and unpredictable. After all of that output you never felt he was repeating himself or phoning it in.
The term “consummate professional” gets thrown around a lot, but damn if Fred Willard isn’t in the top 1% of anyone who’s ever been called that. Most performers will give you quality or quantity, Willard is one of the rare few who did both.
I get the feeling that we’ll see the Enterprise-E again in Picard with Capt. Worf swooping in to save the day. The only question then becomes who else they’ll still have on the ship.
Agreed 100% about TOS being a product of its time, and it applies not only to the writing and production but the acting. Shatner’s acting was over the top, of course, and so were most of the other performances, but it was kind of necessary to distract from how crappy and artificial most of the effects were, even on…

It was kind of refreshing to have a show that actually celebrated intelligence.
Actually, reboots of It’s a Living and Alice could work since they weren’t too gimmicky like the others. Sure, they’d still suck, but they’d be the least bad among your entire list.
Even that can sound like trying to wriggle off the hook. Instead of “any that took offence,” use “those who were offended.”
I’ve seen him perform live twice and he is spectacular at working a crowd. He’s always got that shit-eating grin but you can tell that he’s just thrilled to be on a a stage. The first time I saw him was the same day it was announced on the news he’d signed a 10-year $250M contract with Fox. He and Alex Borstein were…
Check out the Phineas & Ferb: Star Wars episode for a great sci-fi Rosencrantz and Guildenstern experience.
It can be two things.
I hate that I remembered it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Gregory
I think Louise realizes that Linda is truly the crazy one. Her dad’s eccentricities are all very minor compared to her mother’s obliviousness and overzealousness in nearly everything.
