I never gave a crap what my car looked like. I wasn’t trying to impress anyone and I certainly never socialized with anyone who’d judge someone by the appearance of their car.

Thank you! I loved my Aztek and if I didn’t get a job with a 45-mile commute each way I’d still have it. It drove and handled fine, it had plenty of room for those years when the kids played sports and we had to lug lots of equipment, I loved the heads-up display, the seat was comfortable and the accessories such as th…
I was proud of my 18 year old son when we watched the episode with that song recently on Hulu and he actually knew who Mickey Rooney was.
CBS just put 35 episodes on CBS All Access. Eh, it’s a start. I’ll sign up for the free 30 day trial just to see some classic episodes so I’ll have something to compare the revival to.
I’d have been incredibly disappointed had there been no mention of multiple Phineas and Ferb songs. I’m very partial to Baljeet’s “Gimme a Grade” in which he signs about his disappointment that a summer class he took is only pass/fail.
Their hands are still sticky when they take the DVD out of the DVD player.
They’re probably too sticky to play any more.
Didn’t Rocky and Bullwinkle come first? Regardless, that’s far more ground to have to cover than Coyote Ugly.
Leave Mr. Sessions out of this, please.
That would be Conan’s trademarked “The End of the Show Song,” Every so often, I guess when the show runs short or they had to cut something out, they play it during the closing credits. And there are multiple clips on YouTube. Though the two times I’ve gone to tapings, Conan did not come out early. The first time,…
I’ve gone to two Conan tapings, each to celebrate on one my kids’ 16th birthdays. Ever since Conan got the tonight show one of our family things has been to record Conan and watch him over dinner the next night. We did the same with the Daily Show and it was my sneaky way of ensuring that the kids were up on current…
Yes! I remember watching that first episode and wondering if the they gave him Newhart’s material as an homage since it was representative of the comedy of the time or if someone was going to recognize it as joke theft and he’d get his ass handed to him as a result.
Actually, it’s given out at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sept. 9, while the regular Emmy’s are on Sept. 17, so she’ll have already picked up her awards by the time the “big” Emmy show airs. It would be nice to have her on as a presenter though.
Just wait until both Netflix and Hulu have reached subscriber saturation levels and they’ll merge into NetLu or HuFlix.
First choice: Ken Jennings
A movie doesn’t have to be great to be a classic. Everyone who’s seen it will agree that it could have been better, but it’s loved because the parts that worked worked very well and there is just so much memorable about it from the plot to the characters to the dialogue to the interaction to the visuals. There were…
I can say with utter certainty that my wife and I saw Mystery Men at 12:30am the morning of August 11, 1999. She had to be at the hospital at 5:00am for a scheduled C-section and there was no way we were going to sleep that night, so we went to a post-midnight showing. The theater was rather empty but we had a great…
Regrettably, that will never happen. The artists who play the Super Bowl halftime show actually have to pay the NFL for the opportunity to perform, then NFL doesn’t pay the artist. Unless Al had something really major to plug, there’s no way he’ll ever be there.
Doesn’t that first picture of Jon look a lot like H. Jon Benjamin with hair?
I was having a horrible day until I read this. Fall can not come soon enough.
