Can’t help you with that... but slightly related, my inner child has always been amused by the fact that the Library of Congress Classification System puts the subject of Naval Seamen under the letters VD. (All LOC classifications start with letters.) So there’s your useless knowledge for the day.

Honestly, I gave up completely on officiating years ago when they decided the rule needed changed after the blown coin flip. No. The rule was fine. Just admit that the problem was the ref fucking blew it. Don’t “fix” *coughcough* the rule. Jebus.

According to the story: “Mr Schurter’s commanding officer will deal with the matter in a proportionate but disciplinary way,” added Reist. The cyclist may face a reprimand but what the punishment would be is up to the commanding officer and won’t be made public.

Actually, since it looks like the photos came from The Almanac, a free weekly in the South Hills neighborhoods, and the original story they are attached to was written 5 days ago but updated 3 days ago, I’m going to guess it wasn’t intentional. I’d guess story was written. Photographer took photos. Someone

So, looking at the online version of this story, the photo attribution is given to Eleanor Bailey/The Almanac.

To be fair, based on one video I can’t say if it’s racism or an old guy who is biased against “kids these days” and their sense of fashion. Blass is my parents’ age, and I’ve noticed a distinct tendency amongst people in that age group to think that 20-to-30-year olds with things like tattoos, jewellery, or hair that

First and most important, let me state that I heartily approve of the Patriots  being criticized in almost every instance. I’m not disagreeing that they should be criticized, just stating an opinion why they aren’t. And now, to what I originally wrote...

I loved this pretend NFL explanation of why the no call was correct:

If only interviews were like Twitter and he could just respond with an emoji...

I mean, Tom invited AB to stay at his place. I imagine Gisele might have been a bit pissed off, which probably slightly inconvenienced Tom. Hurting, man.

They aren’t giving an exact reason because they expect AB to sue them in an attempt to get his guaranteed money. If anyone associated with the team makes a definitive statement about why AB was cut, that could hamper the Patriots’ lawyers and their defense in court.

I tend to think AB was fired less because “This time there was proof!” and more because Belicheck was ticked off by AB questions monopolizing the time he spent with the press.

What do you think his agent’s alcohol bill is? I mean, not even 1 pm on a Sunday and the man has to be considering several straight shots.

There was also a clause in AB’s contract with NE that comes into play here:

Um, no. Look, imo NFL investigations are always a joke, but what is the NFL supposed to do at this point? I don’t really see the point of putting him on the commissioner’s exempt list while they do the investigation when he already isn’t playing (and yes, they do put people on that list while they conduct
