I’d put a caveat on that—talk therapy with no defined goal and end date is a scam. A good therapist will help you define goals, develop a timeline for meeting them, and frankly will push you out of the nest if things linger to the point where it’s clear they’re not helping.

Nobody’s criticizing their request to sit next to a man. We’re criticizing their request to make women move so that they don’t have to sit next to them. It isn’t that you don’t fall in lock-step with everything I believe it is that you don’t seem to understand RAPE and the trauma it causes to a person who’s brain is not working at the level of an adult. A person who is not fully formed.
