What exactly is the distinction where we’re supposed to be disgusted by people possibly cheating on their fiancées vs. when we’re supposed to be titillated and delighted by it?

Wow wait until they find out that Bud Light’s actual goal is to make as much money as possible by selling their beer to as many people as possible and that they’re willing to invest in marketing campaigns that target people other than dudes that wear Oakleys on the back of their head in order to accomplish that goal.
Elephant riding can be very dangerous. The Secret Service should let him.
“They” already do this to us all the time. Every person in this country can, and does, go to jail for far less than this sack of shit will ever do.
When I lost fifteen pounds after my emergency appendectomy (with bonus COVID-19 infection), last year, I was also happy about finding the “silver lining” from a month-long illness that could have killed me.
When my adoptive mother, the woman who trained me to be a disordered eater and sent me to fat camp lost fifteen…
In college I got food poisoning and dropped nearly fifteen pounds. I was over-fucking-joyed because it got me to size 7.
Yup. If Gwyneth admitted she starved herself to conform to the pressures of first Hollywood and then the Wellness World, I’d like her a lot more than I do. But she doesn’t. She tells a lot of bullshit lies about mindfulness and the myriad benefits of bone broth. It’s not the starvation that’s offensive, it’s the…
“They need to rationalize their orthorexia.”
People are mad at Paltrow for promoting bullshit wellness as a means of her rationalizing her own insecurities and making a shit ton of money of doing so. Paltrow and those like her fear being fat so they promote lies about safe and accessible foods. They need to rationalize their orthorexia. That is why all the…
Is it boomerish of me to ask why it’s sped up like that?
It’s not up to Harry Styles to make Beyonce or her fans feel better. He won. She didn’t. He doesn’t have to apologise, nor muse on whether or not she should have won, nor deflect from his own accomplishment.
Exactly. When her method was all the rage, us slobs with kids heard a lot of “why don’t you just kondo your life” (from actual people or, you know, the totally normal voices in our head) while, actually, it wasn’t that achievable in *our* situation.
I was about to give up on this series (enjoyed the actors and quality of filming but the story felt too familiar). So glad I gave this third episode a chance. What an elegant, graceful, tender story - loved it. Reminded me a bit of the “A Life in the Day” episode of the Magicians. I’m now a fan and will keep watching!
Indeed, I would classify it as ‘two star crossed people who are in love and their tale in an apocalypse.’
Quite possibly the most unbearable, soul-crushingly beautiful, love stories I’ve ever witnessed. My wife, step-son and I sat in complete silence at the end for a good minute....
Juxtaposed against the harsh storyline (or absense of storyline) between these two characters in the game, this was so gentle and kind. What a welcome surprise to get tenderness and music when you were expecting nothing.
Apparently not inviting someone to a private party is now “disinviting” them and ... a thing?
I know it was a joke, but in no world is that group the “old-guard of Hollywood.” That would be a better description of a party that included stars like Barbra Streisand, Julie Andrews, Jane Fonda, or Sophia Lauren.
He and Aniston are both in the Sandler Cinematic Universe.
