Twiggy, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista were all from the working class. Cindy Crawford’s dad was a school teacher. Patti Hansen’s dad was a bus driver. Now, you just have to be a rich girl who can buy a new face and then-boom!-you’re a model.

FALSE FLAG!!!!

Every time I see it, I can’t help but think:

I can’t believe this is a thing men continue to believe, that women can just have sex at the drop of a hat with anyone they want, anytime.

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright … Perrlando!

If we are doing portmanteaus, I prefer Perrlando.

Yeah, I get that it was about her going pop, but it was *so* vapid. It could have been a pop song and a change from her previous style without being quite so obviously over the top. The choreography and dancers (which Ally herself was a first ambivalent about) also highlighted the different direction she was going in,

There is only one Brother Nature in my book.

I would assume (hope?) that if she had the decency to return the very expensive ring, she would also have the decency to return something that was of little monetary value but great emotional importance. I’ll bet she returned the medallion as well.

I hate this “holiday.” I shouldn’t have to buy my boss a present (and no one should, regardless of how much you earn, but it especially grinds my gears because I only make minimum wage). My present to them is that I show up to work everyday and do my damn job.

Not only does my boss expect a gift for this nonesense. She even puts it on the calendar of important events AND has one of her minions email to remind us. I’m a teacher and she’s a principal so she makes easily double what I do. I do not celebrate this “holiday” and I don’t care how much side eye I get.

I feel like National Boss’s Day is for the people that keep asking “Why isn’t there a White History Month?”

I hate this idea so fucking much.  I don’t think it’s ever appropriate for a boss to expect a gift from a subordinate.  It feels like feudalism.

One of my coworkers conspiratorially suggested that I surprise my boss with a hug for boss day, because I’m the designated office Not A Hugger and wouldn’t it be such a surprise?

I’m typing this from lockup because I tazed her.

Club Girth has EVERYTHING.

I quit my job!

oooorrr maybe they were two separate people and she was dealing with her own shit like the bombing at her concert and ending a relationship with an addict. but sure, she totally exploited him.

I can't get over how much he looks like a meth addict who ventured out of Desert Hot Springs for a day. That boy needs a shower and someone to tell him "no" every now and then

I think his father was a firefighter. They lived on Staten Island. I don’t think there was any family money before 9/11.

As someone who had an almost identical experience (I mean mas o menos, I am not a celebrity, I also did not immediately get engaged) I’ve been feeling for her so hard ever since he passed. It’s about 4 years on for me and I still get caught up in guilt & grief & anger &.... it is a very unfriendly cocktail of emotions
