Great museums, I would particularly recommend the Art Institute, it has a world class collection. Also there are tons of street festivals in the summer with music and food, lots of them in neighborhoods that are really worth visiting. I would recommend Lou Malnati's for pizza over Uno's and definitely over Giordano's,

That is so horrible that I don't know what to say except...nope, nothing. I hate him on behalf of the world.

Hahaha what an image. Also, three times an hour?? Dear good god, my nose and mouth burn just thinking of that.

I dream about saying things like that to someone, listing off my degrees and then storming out of a place only to become a legend in the minds of all others in the office. But then I would have no job. Good for you.

Oh yes. Survivor all the way.

I honestly don't know. In college I would watch it hungover sometimes and laugh at them, just kind of aghast at everything they do. I hadn't watched it in years until the other day when I caught few minutes of it and had to turn it off because I was so grossed out. Watching their extravagance and seeing how out of

"Grow up, snap out of it, get over it." Awful, horrible words that don't even apply, and which make you question friendships with the people who say them. I hope you're doing all right, and you are very right, depression does not work that way.

I know the arguments against the implanon would be the same as against the IUD (possible increased prevalence of STIs, etc., although I disagree), but why isn't the implanon more common in the States? It's a five minute procedure, not at all invasive, very effective, and lasts for three years. It can be costly up

No, I figured it was sarcasm. Was just interested in how it could be seen as an advantage.

Bipolar enough? Isn't bipolar disorder generally stigmatized?

Every time I hear someone claim the teachers don't care about the students, I want to scream. Honestly, if they don't, who does?

yesss, how do I vote for comment of the day?? comment of the day!!

I IMMEDIATELY thought of that episode when I began reading this, and how I lifted my hands up when I saw it, said, "What?!" through tears, and whimpered, because Fry should have brought that dog back to life, god damn it.

Calling 311 is a great start, but please call the police! As a fellow female in Chicago who often takes taxis alone late at night, I'd really like this guy off the street. So glad you're okay, take care.

This was my first thought, too. I also see a sense of humor and playfulness as two different qualities that do not so easily equate in my mind. Hmm.
