Uh.....where are you pulling these “quotes” from? I have heard nothing from Kevin Smith other than how much he loved the series as a kid and is proud to be able to have adapted it. Also, he is apparently enough of a fan to know how to spell “Orko”...

It’s almost like they don’t actually care about the truth. Wait, that’s exactly what it is.

The issue for Afterlife is going to be can the film please the die-hard fans of the original two films,

Good trailer ,very much like the original Ghostbusters trailer started out serious in tone ,although it needs a little of the OG music at the end .

This looks so fucking good. It looks like its striking the perfect balance of nostalgia and making sure that you know that this story isn’t Ghostbusters 3. Sure the original cast will be involved but this isn’t entirely their story, it’s all about the kids which I wasn’t so sure about at first, but the concept is

Wait, did Janine and Egon get together?

So...GO Media is just hemorrhaging talent apparently? Sorry to see you go, but I hope you’re landing somewhere that appreciates you!

I’m cautiously optimistic about Fantasy Island, but I’m also prepared to be tremendously disappointed. It feels like they’re genuinely going for a 21st Century version of the original vibe, which is good.

JFC. GIVE IT TO ME NOW. Captain Janeway is back in the house!

Tamarian security chief! Sokath, his eyes open!

This looks absolutely SPECTACULAR!

This show is magical.  I never knew I wanted a Trek series like this until I saw it, and now I can’t get enough.

Hmm, a Miranda-class starship...

A chimpanzee and two trainees could run her.”

You’re welcome, international viewers (cuz the Twitter version did not work for me)...

Oh, found it... on Tumblr. Yes, you should be embarrassed.

I for one am excited. The ship has an NX registry so we know it’s a prototype. The scale and shape of the ship puts it about the size of the Nova class as seen in Voyager “Equinox, Parts 1 &2" It’s hull looks a bit like it has the Ablative armor generator deployed from Voyager “Endgame”.

I’m not going to comment on the series as a whole until we have seen it, but I am really digging the concept. The idea that these kids find a lost Starfleet vessel, and that it (through Janeway) will become their teacher, is straight up mythic, in a way that Trek has really been in the past.
