I’ve been making the same point (though you are more eloquent).  The fact that people don’t get that impeachment is a trap, is mind-boggling.

I don’t think it will die in the senate. I think Mitch will use it as a weapon to exonerate Trump.  Which will foreclose any possibility of impeaching him in the future should the Dems take the Senate.

It’s a lame excuse, to be sure, but there are valid reasons to avoid the impeachment trap. If she initiates impeachment, once it gets to the Senate, Mitch will ignore all evidence and exonerate Trump.  If you don’t believe this, you haven’t been paying attention.

Why are you so angry?  Look, if a cabbage runs against Trump, vote for the damn cabbage!

I wouldn’t go that far, but she was certainly more qualified than Trump.  That this escaped a large part of the electorate is depressing.
