Impeachment isn’t about removing a President from office.  It is an inquiry into whether that President should be removed.  If the Dems start impeachment proceedings, it is a lot more likely they’ll be able to compel testimony.  It is also a justification to get the President’s tax returns.  Pelosi is playing it too…
