It depends on how well reviewed it is. I wouldn’t see it simply because it was part of a “cinematic universe”. That’s worked for Marvel and pretty much no one else.

A “cinematic universe” based on a single movie with no obvious sequel entry points is putting the marketing cart ahead of the creative horse.

The last thing we need is another “cinematic universe”.

Please don’t. Nothing cheapens a classic horror movie like a sequel (see Insidious).

Unless the goal is just more money, in which case cheapening a classic horror movie with sequels works wonders at the box office (see Insidious).

This actually looks good. And Ehrenreich didn’t give me horrible flashbacks from Beautiful Creatures.

If they pass him over when casting the young Indiana Jones, yes. Hopefully Ehrenreich’s not-Han teaches Disney a lesson.

Well no, those three could act. Emilia Clarke is more from the Elijah Wood/Joey Tribiani “smell the fart” school of acting.

Which I should follow by saying I really enjoy Emilia and Elijah most of the time, they just have poor emoting game.

Good point. It’s how I felt about Rogue One. So far the standalone movies seem to be nailing the Star Wars feel better.
