I am not well versed in the lotr lore, can you tell me in what big way is the show departing from the books?

They are new characters, who seem to represent the unseen sorcerers and cultists who served Morgoth and later Sauron in the books, but whose individual representation was left at the Nazgûl and the Mouth of Sauron in the books.

I find your faith in slideshows disturbing.

- Theo is a potential candidate for Mouth Of Sauron.

- Another excellent episode. This show does justice to Tolkien’s world, even if the chronology is somewhat messed up. So far, it’s epic fantasy done right.

Yes... but not where you thiiiiiink!

I'm guessing that like people, there's good and and bad skrulls and a lot in between.

Is Madisynn in this?  If not, pass.

Before the MAGA cult starts whining about the First Amendment:

Although cows are frequently blamed, it’s actually Fox News personalities that are the single greatest source of methane pollution.

But why would they think it was running/idling rather than just parked and off?? I get that some drivers probably idle with engines on to keep A/C or heat running, but that’s pretty obvious via noise and exhaust. Neither of which would have been there. Society (and media as reflection of that) lionizes and teaches that men are dominant, need to be protectors and warriors, not take shit, and that consequently violence can be an answer to their feelings of

so in which reality/society men are allowed to “hulk out” in their everyday lives?

Another story exposing Chris Pratt as a decent human being. That piece of shit...

True, though I mostly credit that to Alfred Molina

Something I just realized after finishing this episode: Jimmy is always at his most vengeful when people attempt to hold themselves accountable. Note how his true rage at Howard started when Howard confessed that he felt responsible for Chuck’s death. When Kim comes in to sign the divorce settlement, his performance

Now she has to become a governor.
