Oh man, I am in this situation right now! Trying to crash relearn how to ride a bike for my trip to Vietnam, where there is an included bike tour I might still need to bow out of, how mortifying! But it’s the motivator I needed to get back on. I learned as a kid, and used to love riding my beloved bike around my

ugh yes, agreed. As a “recovering” bullimic and anorexic myself, I don’t LOVE hearing jokes about the disorders. Like, I read that (don’t watch the show) and did get mildly offended, but understood it was just stupidity and off-the-cuff live show funny/crazy commentary I am all too used to watching reality competition

Well 1) not all indie nail polish is making people’s nails fall off. Mentality is one company in a sea of hundreds, and this has never happened. The worst we have seen is fading colors or curled glitters or staining, which happens with big-name brands as well. And 2) glitter is not the extent of what makes indie

They are a god-awful company with a terrible owner - google lime crime drama and you’ll get a taste of Doe Deere’s shenanigans

RBL is one of my favorite brands as well! Pricy but worth the splurge once in awhile.

except that I find Julep to be completely uninspiring.

I dunno, it’s just personal preference I guess? Digital Nails is one of my fave brands bc I am a fan of the maker, and the inspirations/names of the polishes. I have about 10-15 DN polishes and I absolutely cannot find an equivalent of every one in a mainstream brand. She has thermal glitters, holographic

You can’t get every color and every finish under the sun from the big companies like OPI, China Glaze, etc. You can get a lot, and probably be perfectly satisfied. But if you have an interest in polish and nail art, indie brands are doing more interesting things with finishes - linear holographic, scattered

This is one terrible indie in a sea of great ones. It’s overall a fun community to be a part of if you have enthusiasm for nail art and polish. If you don’t, I would understand its unappeal to you :) But yeah, overall indie brands are fantastic if you have an interest in nail polish. The biggest “scandals” I have seen

Most definitely yes! And it’s addicting and incredible - usually.
