How the fuck are you people able to be cynical even about a game like this? For fuck’s sake.

I want to thank the Wachowskis for my neck pain. The number of times I looked up at the ceiling and said, “GET ON WITH IT!” has wrecked my neck.

Big fan of the original Matrix, found the sequels at least watchable, but this? This was one of the worst movies I’ve had to sit through in a very long time.

I remember when Kotaku was about videogames, not petty articles about every bit of sexist, political or controversial trivia. Times do change, I guess...

I’m sure this has nothing to do with massively downvoted Biden and other liberal/progressive videos ...

I personally still fundamentally dislike how the game feels and plays, but yes as of even last year, they hit that mark. Multiplayer is actually real, meaningful space combat is real, and there are more sandbox and story objectives. On top of that there’s base building and now larger settlement building, presumably

Honestly... Yeah, his vibe changed. I guess what he said about how the WOW systems create toxicity among its users. But yeah, he is very entertaining.

He’s actually surprisingly fun to watch, tbh. I never really wanted to watch him, but he’s been great entertainment since the FFXIV adventure.

You ever get so mad on a message board you committed what amounts to treason?

No thanks, don’t need it. There’s a reason Hayao doesn’t want it and it’s because we don’t need it, it would end up less than the original, less than originally hoped, less than everything. There’s no need. Just the same as there’s no need for Disney to go through their entire catalog one-by-one and remake everything

So are you not gonna show or link any of the context for this?

The Vikings are the new Zombies,

Eh, so far I’m enjoying BlizzCon more than the Nintendo Direct you referenced. To each their own. I play Blizzard games every day, so getting updates on them are great. And we got new games! The Arcade Collection, D2 Resurrected officially, BC Classic officially. And it’s free to watch.

This is an unacceptable take on the internet though lol. Nope, game is “unplayable” on every platform. It gets old that everything is amazing or everything is trash on these interwebs. It can also be both and everything in between, depending on the consumer. I’ve read so many posts about “fanboys” needing validation,

I really hate the new look. In the original, everything on screen looked like they belong together. The remake looks like multiple art styles shoved together, especially the differences between the environments and characters.

It’s early access.
Of course it’s buggy.
That’s the entire point of early access.

Agreed. I actually do have one friend who owns PSVR but that is about it. Games that are dependent on tech that not many ppl own, let alone can even afford, aren’t that many. I honestly don’t understand why HL:Alyx wasn’t given a non-VR variant. Or that the game could have released as a regular FPS title first and

I’m still so bleak about the fact that a proper part of Half-Life lore and story is locked behind hardware that I cannot justify spending money on. As much as I want VR I can’t justify to my partner spending money on this thing that costs at least as much as a PC, and has only a scattering of must play games. It was

Star Wars sucked, but Rian Johnson is still a good director. Looper still holds up. Disney is the one who should be blamed by not making sure the entire trilogy was written and hashed out before they started filming.

Unpopular opinion: Inception is way overrated. Pretty to look at, but intellectually empty. I enjoyed it but have no reason to ever watch it again. It’s what happens when you give someone plenty of money to invest in a pretentious project that really only makes sense in terms of itself.  The ending is not as deep as

I love Christopher Nolan in general, but I remain extremely disappointed by Inception. Why did the “dreamscapes” all play like typical Hollywood action fare? I found it to be a huge missed opportunity with no heart at the center. It spent WAY too much time explaining and justifying its own mechanics, which were not
