This is what I have been saying. Sanders let her fall on the sword to explain how she would pay for an expansion of healthcare in this country. If he’s the nominee I’ll vote for him, but I will never forgive him for that.

I’d say her remaining support is more practical. The core progressives bailed to Bernie months ago. Couple that with all the toxic shit thrown at her by Bernie supporters for having the nerve to run for President, and I’d guess 2/3 of her remaining base will go Biden. It’s what I’m doing.

They need to drop their “if you’re not for us you’ve been corrupted by corporate Democrats” bullshit and soon.

Amen. It is what it is. I read articles where people waited in line for 5+ hours to vote due to republican policies. Mostly POC too in southern states. For people to call them part of the “corporate class” and whatnot are out of touch with reality.

Never underestimate how much Americans HATE smart women.

This is true.  If only they had it as easy as older black folks, then young folks would turn out in droves.

Healthcare that people can't afford is useless.

The question is: Which demographic is likely to be willing to accept that they didn’t get their preferred candidate on the ballot, but go out and vote democrat in November nonetheless? The millions of Black American voters who prefer Biden, or the millions of 20-something year olds who prefer Bernie?

Old people, well they used to be young too. The saying about getting more conservative as you age isn’t true — but, growing older does give you a different perspective on what the country needs. Moderates aren’t cowardly, or uneducated on the issues — they’re the bravest for understanding that America is a politically

It always amazed me that MATH was Yang’s thing, given his entire campaign apparently revolved around making money appear out of thin air.

What are you talking about? Again, I supported Bernie over Hillary. I don’t “hate him at all costs”. Just because his MFA math doesn’t add up while Warren’s does doesn’t mean I “hate him at all costs”. Just because I’ve pointed out that he’s a man who’s almost 80 and had a heart attack within the last 6 month doesn’t

I admire your courage in attempting to get a BernieBro to understand, well, anything. At the end of the day, though?

Yes, what part of “candidates who are running in an election where 98% of the delegates are up for grabs don’t owe anything to the other candidates at this time” do you not get? Look, Warren owes as much to Bernie as Bernie owes to Bloomberg aka NOTHING. They’re all running for the same office, they owe nothing to

the term “socialist” will be used against him to the extent that people will be turned off and reelect Trump

You could argue it makes him “a better person” all day long, I disagree. If what she says is true, then she wasn’t “going low”. If it isn’t true, we’ll never know, which means it still wasn’t “going low”. Careless, yes. If no one else is there to corroborate it, even if it’s true, others will judge you just for saying

When did she say she would wait until her 3rd year to pass the legislation? The legislation can pass all-at-once to encompass the MFA transition AND the MFA plan at the beginning of her Administration. Then in the 3rd year the “legislative autopilot” would be the MFA full rollout. Even if a GOP Congress is in office,

Let Bloomberg serve as an example for the people who continue to talk about “electability” and push the fantasy that Warren would get dumped on by Trump. This lady would murder Trump live on stage and then tell you her 17 point plan on how to get blood stains out of your clothes.

Firstly, her MFA plan’s approach is the ONLY one that makes sense. Bernie’s, while ambitious, doesn’t actually lay out how it’ll be paid for and what the transition to MFA would look like. She’s not “establishment”, and her candidacy is not meant is an emergency brake for Sanders. She doesn’t owe ANYONE in the race

If you read the WaPo article, Bernie starts saying the above, which is the response we want to hear. But then...

I’m a long time Bernie fan, but I fear the term “socialist” will be used against him to the extent that people will be turned off and reelect Trump. And defeating Trump is my only issue. I think Warren may be more electable because of the wall of distortion coming our way from the Republicans over Bernie where they
