Their whole brotherhood thing is so creepy/scary. The way they all support one another even when one has done something horrific, like planting evidence or senselessly killing someone. They lie for each other and it is terrifying.

Unfortunately, having a black cop with a white cop probably wouldn’t do much to curb racism. Police culture is violent and institutionalized racism can be internalized. Hash tag not all cops bla bla bla but seriously.

i noticed that as well during the attacks. they were speculating things based on no proof whatsoever. that was a total circus.

same. i can handle al jazeera but the rest.. not so much. the manic pace, the BREAKING NEWS!!! on things that have already been news for hours/days, the constant ticker... i cannot deal!

CNN is almost as bad as Fox News these days. Over Thanksgiving, my dad and I got into a debate about the leaning of CNN. I said CNN leaned right and he said it was “total liberal garbage.”

I super loved this book and actually, all of Highsmith’s novels, despite her being problematic and all that. Whatever. This book was gold and I am excited for the movie!!!

my friends on fb are the same way. all the bernie folks spend their time attacking hill instead of the repubs.
