So you acknowledge the situation is bullshit but felt the need to throw in some speculation on why it was possibly, probably their fault anyway. I see you.

Lol, so basically you are feeling kind of indignant about that one small sentence?

It’s helpful because many people don’t realize that white people get really indignant over the smallest of things, especially when it comes to black people and it’s important to point out that white people get really indignant over the smallest of things, especially when it comes to black people because if people

The American police exist solely to cater to white bodies, fears, tears and paranoid hallucinations. Why would the cops make this trip out over a complaint of leisurely golfers? Where is the crime here that the police upon getting this call deemed it necessary to spend tax payer dollars investigating? Counties need to

The first complaint was made on the SECOND hole!

They won’t. They ignore us at every turn. The most recent example was the uproar about Stephon Clark even though 5 days before, there was not a peep from them about Decynthia Clements. And THEN when Clark’s social media posts were exposed, black men spent days on social media berating black women for not wanting to

I disagree a bit: this could have still happen with one or two black employees. I mean, check out the reaction of the police chief who is black and is defending the cops. Sometimes diversity is overrated, especially when it strengthens the white power structure.

Their asinine ‘rule’ I can accept for the locker room. But as the receipts show, evidently it’s not a rule or at least one enforced.

When you reach levels of racism that confuse the police you are on some next level hatred.

Yeah! This privileged, out-of-touch white woman had a black friend! Well, employee. But still. And she supported women! Except her husband and son, who had actual, real legislative power, didn’t. But still! Shame on anyone who doesn’t revise history to honor this person’s made-up accomplishments.

“There must be more to the story. The teacher must have done something to deserve getting called nigger.”

She was respected by everyone

Thank you for making sure that the images I have of this man are those of a loving father. These pictures of this man are not the ones I will likely find in other outlets’ reporting on this lynching.

It’s sad that she died and there will be lots of glowing articles about her in the coming days.

I like these thoughts. Spot on. We’ve all had the cousin to rehab/back out there thing so, yea.

One day to counter almost 400 years of oppression? Damn, that Starbucks coffee is amazing.

It should really just be “Racial-Bias Firing”

I literally just heard this exact conversation in the kitchen between two conservative women in my office. That’s why I found this article in the first place.

“Ugh, why is Starbucks closed? I need a grande latte frappachino mochachina NOW!”

You don’t want to discuss the incident. You want to ignore the facts to suit your bias and you want to make excuses for racist behaviour rather than face your own biases. It’s obvious to everyone who doesn’t immediately assume black men are a problem that the Starbucks employee and the cops were *wildly* out of line
