Agreed; it’s a game for a certain type of player, and that’s fine. But damn, the stories and things that come out of this game are Star Wars-esq in magnitude, and we all know this’ll end up in a huge fucking massive space fight between 40k+ people moving one inch every thirty seconds.

I heard that the servers slow time down when a large cluster(f***) of people get together to fire at each other, instead of the lag start skipping everybody around, and the ones with better net connection wins.

I had no love for EVE while playing it briefly, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading up on the craziness that goes on.
