Started Spec Ops: The Line. Is alright so far, has the problem that many shooters have of "three guys easily take down 50 people who have better positions and the element of surprise", which I know is kind of the point but gets tedious. And at least its three people instead of one. But the story is supposed to be

Sahara…wait…

I have quite the love for "Going To Georgia", it was or is my favorite. "Jeff Davis County Blues" may take the cake for me, at least this week.

Current favorite line may be: I wish the West Texas highway was a mobius strip/I could ride it out forever when I feel my heart break

I'm usually a dick in video games. While Skyrim doesn't really have a moral system, my vampire character who was way too powerful had an insatiable urge to murder every person he came across, be it on the road or in a town, but do it sneakily and never be caught. At least 4 cities are completely empty except for

Duffman can never die, only the actors who play him!

I went and saw John Wick at the local dollar theater with some coworkers. I had already seen it a few weeks ago but it was probably equally great the second time.

I put at least 100+ hours into the game and never completed the main story with Dagoth-Ur. Maybe its because I didn't care enough to do everything, maybe its because I never noticed the ramp up to the room with the Dwarven Puzzle Box (aka like the 3rd mission) and instead spent so, so, so much time exploring the rest

Liar's Dice was a nice surprise, given that it is also known by another name (Perudo) which I very very regularly play as a drinking game with my friends. Great game.

I just played Arkham City for the first time this past week and beat it. I never found the boss fights hard, but the guards are what always got me. Loved the game though, still have a ton of side missions to do at least.

How soon people forget the five 4th quarter comebacks for the 49ers in 2011-2012, plus a sixth against the saints. Plus both Smith and Kaepernick have the same number of 4th quarter comebacks this year. Smith himself has thrown 6 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, with Kaepernick at 0.

I think he's much better than RG3 (although, injuries haven't helped RG3). But yeah, its a vicious cycle.

That no TD to a wide-out stat is irrelevant given that the Chiefs are 2nd in red zone scoring percentage. A touchdown is a touchdown, doesn't matter who its to.

Gave up on my 49ers a few weeks ago, not particularly happy to see I was right. It wasn't the in-fighting or injuries that made me give up, just the god-awful play by Colin Kaepernick. That guy has no touch on the ball whatsoever. I, for one, did not want to see Alex Smith go and that is one of the reasons.

No Birdman?

Although I haven't read his translation of the New Testament, I will say his translation of the Odyssey is unreasonably great.

Player Piano is great. I suggest that.

My singing teacher pretty much says every little girl wants to sing that song and that it drives her crazy, but she is professional and won't crush some little girl's dreams.

Same here. I got myself in good shape this summer to prepare for a week of backpacking the Adirondacks and came back from that trip in even better shape and then…kinda just stopped working out. Went to the gym yesterday though and am gonna try to stay on the wagon.

Jet pants. That's all I want.
