Yeah! At first I refused to accept that there wasn’t a way to free the innocents from the VR simulation that allowed them to live happily ever after. Then I just succumbed to the evil route out of frustration. Oasis was also a really tough one when it turned out doing the right thing for Harold meant slaughtering a

I have to say, on my first play through of Fallout 3 I was being a good person and trying to help everyone I could. So it was pretty liberating to just straight up murder a bunch of screaming, defenseless people with a knife. I did feel bad about it afterwards though.

I wound up killing the whole town because I couldn’t figure out the puzzle. That’s because while I knew it was about activating the items in sequence, I was too stupid to realize some of the items needed to be activated twice!

Wow! For it to actually end the game for your friend is a testament to the sheer WTF-ery of Tranquility Lane.

My vote for best quest goes to Tranquility Lane. By the time the player reaches this quest, she’s seen a lot of weird stuff in the Wasteland, but this is where it just goes off the rails. Entering a viral reality pod, you find yourself in a pristine, sepia-toned suburb with a giddy, catchy soundtrack. After having

Pardon me while I get pedantic: It’s not actually “avop,” it’s “andr.” The greek letters ἀνδρ may look like “avop” but the ν (nu) is an n sound, the δ (delta) is a d, and the ρ (rho) is an r.

Looks like I'll finally have to buy a current gen console...

Going after a Fire Ant Soldier with a switchblade? The first time I played FO3 those guys were killing me before I could even get within melee range! Ah, I love that feeling the first time you play a game and have no idea what you’re doing... I ran circles around a Mirelurk for five minutes trying to VATS it in its

Is your hobby “running around blindfolded in the piano bench showroom”? I do that too!

I haven’t played Alan Wake, but the “melt the shields” combat reminds me of the Mass Effect games, in which enemies had different combinations of Shields/Armor/Biotic Barriers/Health, and your weapons and abilities had different efficacy against each kind of defense. So when facing a shielded robot, say, you'd start

“I am sworn to carry your buck-buck-bucKAWW”

Before Natalia Tena played Osha, she played Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter series. (The GIF synergy here is amazing)

I love Skyrim but my first thought was “who the hell would want a fishing mod? that seems so boring with no payoff.” And I’m someone who forged enough spam armor to level one character up to 100 Smithing and two others to 90.

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! Uh, yeah...

I'm sorry. :(

This Absolon doun sette hym on his knees And seyde, “I am a lord at alle degrees; For after this I hope ther cometh moore. Lemman, thy grace, and sweete bryd, thyn oore!” The wyndow she undoth, and that in haste.

Wonderful comment/screen name synergy going on here…

I’m really partial to sewer hole myself.

You should have told me to shut my sewer hole
