I haven’t played Alan Wake, but the “melt the shields” combat reminds me of the Mass Effect games, in which enemies had different combinations of Shields/Armor/Biotic Barriers/Health, and your weapons and abilities had different efficacy against each kind of defense. So when facing a shielded robot, say, you'd start

“I am sworn to carry your buck-buck-bucKAWW”

Before Natalia Tena played Osha, she played Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter series. (The GIF synergy here is amazing)

I love Skyrim but my first thought was “who the hell would want a fishing mod? that seems so boring with no payoff.” And I’m someone who forged enough spam armor to level one character up to 100 Smithing and two others to 90.

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! Uh, yeah...

This Absolon doun sette hym on his knees And seyde, “I am a lord at alle degrees; For after this I hope ther cometh moore. Lemman, thy grace, and sweete bryd, thyn oore!” The wyndow she undoth, and that in haste.

Staring at her... stream

I think someone thinks she's the only one who read the book Gone Girl.

Yes! I kept trying to open the bookcase, but it never opened (and I did have the keys). I wound up "electrocuting the man" with the circuit box but was convinced that the man— and the secret safe room— was a delusion. Shocked now to find there actually was a room and a man.

Haha! For some reason I watched the previous 00:18:57 run all the way through. I don't think I'll watch this one to see how he shaved off 4 seconds. Godspeed to all you speed runners, but I'll never play a game of Fallout 3 where I don't shoot off a raider's grimacing head in V.A.T.S. or blow one up by shooting the

Yes!! That same Resident Evil serif font.

I remember playing Nightmare Creatures with the cheat that had you play as different creatures for each level. Got as far as a level that required you to pull a lever to advance, but the creatures didn't have the ability to pull levers, so I was stuck. Probably an important lesson in there.
