I agree with you. I was a college kid at the time collecting a good paycheck and had to choose between the S2000, 350Z, and the G35. Nothing else stood out in the price range. I ended up choosing the S2000 because in South Florida they would steal the HID headlights off of the Z and G35.

I sold my 2005 Honda S2000 when I left to Med school. It was brand spanking new, too. I had no choice. I couldn’t work to pay for it anymore.

I dig this. Would definitely go this route over, say, the Maserati SUV. The wheels are cool until you think about having to clean them. I know they’ll never make it to production.
