I thought Sam’s father and brother made it pretty clear that they don’t believe the White Walkers even exist, so I doubt he could have rallied any men. As for Sam’s father hating the wildlings, I would liken it to racism or homophobia or xenophobia.

Oh, I don’t fear for Arya at all, but I feel like that’s the plotline that took the biggest turn this episode, so I think it would have been the best one to close on.

I’m looking forward to The Waif coming after Arya and Arya doing some murdering in the dark. :)
