And don’t forget Thunderhill Raceway down south of Austin near Harris Hill Road. (In between Kyle and San Marcos.)

Austin Raceway Park used to be a thing up in Round Rock where La Frontera stands today. I visited what remained of it a couple years ago when I worked in the area, but I think it’s all gone now.

The US fleet typically “ages out” in 10 years. Look around, you won’t find many cars older than 10 years routinely traveling the roads.

I chose all transportation (ships, motorcycles, cars) and the T-Rex.

I feel like I’m the only person in the whole United States who’s owned a Rocky, let alone two of the crazy things. And here you go voting it best of.

Some people literally just don’t know better. You’d think this would be easy to figure out, but my ex-wife didn’t know how to change a spare tire when I met her.

Star Trek isn’t what you think it is.

Nothing good ever came from a wasp.

I actually drug out one of these calls the other day just by playing dumb. I got elevated to better support, which was a guy with an eastern European accent, and when he couldn’t help me, they routed me to another superior with an American accent. It was bizarre.

I wish more people realized that. Seriously, it’s just a flimsy piece of plastic that just sits on top of the business end of the toilet. It just makes things look pretty and marginally comfortable. You could pick it up and move it off the toilet with no tools and very little effort.

Sadly, the chain brake works opposite how it’s intended to work. The brake is there so that if the saw snaps back on you, it stops the chain.

There’s no stealth in space. The heat of any object would make it trivial to detect against the cold backdrop of space. Voyager 1 is the furthest object we’ve launched and is just beyond the heliopause. It emits about as much heat as a 22 watt lightbulb. And yet, we can spot it easily, from this distance and with that
