A quick lesson on mean, median, and mode.

Mean is the normal "average". This is usually pretty good, but one large result can skew everything. Pretend there are 10 Bugatti owners. 9 of them own 10 cars each, but the tenth owner has 200 cars. When we do the average, it appears the "average owner" has 29 cars.

Same thing happened to me when we tested my P85+. Got a horsepower reading that showed minimal drivetrain loss (404 HP) but torque readings were all over the map.

This is the one I always tell. Some used car dealers will do anything to make a sale.

Was buying my first Miata. I found it on an Auto Nation lot in Houston. It was perfect, a '95 Laguna Blue, which I think is the best year of the NA and one of my favorite Miata colors. Fair price too.

Now, my father had agreed to cosign the loan because I was still in college and my credit was shit. What Auto

My God, that car sounds terrible.

I'm reminded of a story and ... no. Just no. I've seen how this ends, and it's not good for us.

I carried a new Porsche through the recession, even though for a brief point in time, I had trouble making the payments on it due to unemployment. I could have gotten food stamps and unemployment but I was too proud.

As this woman says, it creeps up on you. You don't think, "oh, I guess making next to nothing is

I put my P85+ around many hot laps at COTA. Yes, after about two or three laps, the car "overheats" and goes into a sort of limp mode where you only have half the power. From what I've seen of heat readouts, it's the rotor inside the electric motor that overheats and it's really difficult to cool that down.

Nothing says fast like "Get The Hell Out".

Tell that to classic Mustang owners.

Wow. I saw one of these at an auto show in Houston in 1992. I might still have photos. Always wondered what it was, besides a terrible Firebird body kit.

Stef, please stop using the roll cage as a hand hold. If the car rolls over or crashes on that side, you're likely to lose fingers.

I've always said, "you can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house." Make your decisions accordingly.

My local police department is going for these cars now that have slightly duller vinyl in the same color as the body paint, so you can't tell they're cop cars until you're right up on them. They're not undercover, but they're dumb as hell.

This is the Lancia Stratos, not the Ferrari Modulo.

Spoken like someone who isn't a frequent flyer. I learned quickly when flying every week that you simply do not check bags. Ever. No matter how little you have to pack. In the space of a year, I had about four lost bags. Granted, they were always returned to me eventually and intact, but it's small consolation

It's an automatic. The car she needs to review is this GT40 Jeff owns. I've only ridden in it, but it's absolutely insane. And stops traffic like nothing I've ever seen.

I wouldn't call it the beginning of time. I remember the first review where they started recording it. It was a 911 Turbo versus a Corvette faceoff. They found the 911 was slightly faster in the 0-60 run, but it always felt slower when using it normally. Why was this? It was because the Turbo needed time to

I preferred GM's solution that were belts mounted on the door and meant to be left latched all the time. No one ever did this or understood how they were supposed to work but they met the letter of the law and also ensured that they wouldn't work if the door came open in a crash.
