Finally some decent lumbar support in coach!

Mercedes/BMW 4-door coupes. I can’t believe people are buying these hideous things, let alone paying 6-figures for them.

I don’t know that it’s necessarily a bad car, but the GLE AMG is the ugliest turd of a car I’ve seen go on sale in recent years. I have to do a double-take every time I see one on the road and then hold back vomit. Worth noting that I like crossovers and smaller SUVs as well, but this one just does everything wrong -

I THINK the Karma Revero is still being sold - their website is still active (it’s the official luxury car of the LA Raiders I guess?) - and hoo boy, I can’t think of anything worse.

I’m going to go ahead and say any modern day Maserati. Don’t get me wrong, I love Maserati as a brand and I think the new MC20 is going to be a stellar vehicle (let’s exclude that one from this discussion for a minute since it’s just too new). That said, can you think of a worse value for your money in the expensive

I mean, any car has an associated image attached to it.

See, I’m a liberal-leaning gay man who likes tailored suits and dinners that come in courses. And I drive a traffic-cone-orange Camaro. Why? Because I like it. And what you think of me when you see me drive by has exactly no impact on my life. Drive whatever you like.

When you get the car, please keep a running tally of the times you say to yourself “well that’s fucking stupid”.

Do you think it stands a chance?

I hope it stands a chance.

Is there any semblance of quality control?

Same I was iffy on the yellow but the  silver version that was leaked is gorgeous. The blue I do agree as well fits the car

Damn near any BMW, but I’m going to single out the entry level 3 series after options. Fifty. Seven. Thousand. Dollars. for a turbo 4 banger churning out less horsepower than a Chrysler Minivan at 255 HP (I know, BMW underrates their engines). Their interior materials feel cheap, they’ve tried finding ways to nickle

The Jeep Wrangler 392 at$ 70k+. Its a pure cash grab considering the same engine is available in a $32k Ram 2500.

Much as I love driving some of them, the options pricing on high-end European cars has reached comedic levels. See: Ferrari charging almost $4k for Apple CarPlay, Porsche’s $600 leather air vents, Germans charging premiums for items that are standard in a midsize Hyundai, etc.

lets take a moment and let the new normal of these two statements sink in:

No, the head bolt issue was fixed halfway through the 2011 model year (in USA) and is not an issue at all on the 2012+ facelifted C63.

These motors are pretty bullet proof as long as you take care of the head bolt issue. They get to 100K with no issues and can go even more. Great motors.

Hard to find manual is a real plus. But, as someone who has ‘refurbished’ a lowly 944, and shopped 928's, I can not even imagine the money pit this thing is. 928's are notorious for their wiring going bad. Not saying I know about this one, but it does not exactly look like it has had a thorough working-over lately.

Rust is a bigger issue that spinny bits. My son has an ‘86 that has horrible skirt rust, but the rest of it is structurally sound and it runs great. And holy shitballs, is it fun to drive. I had no idea. It’s like Mario Cart with real vroomy noises. Banana peels whenever you want them with a quick jab of the right
