The problem is that no matter what they do that is convenient, someone has already done it. There isn't really a good/convenient way to do it that hasn't been done by someone else already.

Another idea is that they could have a multitask center that swipes up from the bottom

no, no you cant. You can on the iPad... double home click, swipe to the side and there it is, but the iPhone you go to homescreen, settings, general, then adjust brightness in there

That is very true. I honestly rarely notice it, but it would be helpful when typing in passwords and such.

Isn't that really bright though? I never used it because I thought about how bright that LED is and I didn't want to have a bright flash every time my phone went off in the movie theater... most phones have a small LED sort of like the ones that show the battery power on the MacBook Pro, they let out enough light to

Agree on the multitask being in the swipedown. I don't like buttons when I can help it and apple seems to have the same viewpoint on most things. I'm not sure why I feel this way, I just do. I feel like they could have it on the notifications center stuck to the bottom of the swipedown. I love this idea and have

The shutdown sequence is SO ANNOYING!

I'm with you. I feel like its a cramming of the bad of each side into one. It's good in concept, but in a real desktop environment, it doesn't quite work.

I really don't get the hate for your comment. You were stating a fact.

My thought exactly! haha love the video!!

Orrrrr maybe the person is just fat... just an idea...

Shadow from the thing sticking out the right side of the one on the left... the rest of the image is smudged on the shadows cuz theres light from the right too but that spot only gets the light from the left.

Maybe they're planning to reuse it at a later date lol

I don't make enough money to buy wireless routers for them. Also, there are lots of people who don't have wireless routers, the things aren't cheap for decent ones. There are also security issues with wireless. Any wireless connection can be easily monitored. People like to stick their heads in the WPA and WEP sand

THANK YOU! This is what I've been saying. My firewire port is used 100% of the time that my macbook is at my desk and about 40-50% of the time that I'm using it elsewhere. They're stabbing the people who got them where they are.

It looks to me that it fell on its elbows/knees in a crawling position... which would make sense if it was opening the door and fell headfirst.

But I don't want an adapter. I already have to carry around adapters for VGA and DVI, I'd have to carry around an external optical drive for when I need it, I'd also have an ethernet adapter for when I need that, and I'd have to carry a firewire adapter for when I need that. I don't always know exactly what I'm going

Well, I used USB for a while. USB 2.0 is useful and convenient, and is actually just as fast if it is the ONLY USB device on the bus, but that is highly unlikely these days. I contemplated sticking with USB when I was upgrading, but I like having the constantly dedicated port for my audio/midi interface (Focusrite

I use it every day all day. Lots of audio recording hardware runs off firewire. If a Macbook Pro did not have firewire on it, I would be forced to switch to a PC.

Both of my grandmothers own a laptops but not wireless routers. Get out of your bubble and stop generalizing. They have laptops because they like to be able to take it with them to work on stuff, but they don't always have to be connected to the net. At home they use them as desktop computers... I hate to break it to
