@superflat44: true, but like the iphone it has to work flawlessly and completely intuitively, which is not an easy task here, because there are a multitude of variables that can potentially ruin the experience.

@ZeeMox: those usually come later, and they aren't 1:1 performance comparable to their desktop counterparts either....
@dracosummoner: I don't know about 'how we play', but I will say they popularized FPS in the console (a huge) market and that's not bad.
@GamingTheory: Re Activision.
@Dodgerwd: but I don't think there's a whole lot kinect can do that Move theoretically cannot. The marketing is just therewith the emphasis to make it magical seeming.
@poplin: I enjoyed Jericho way more than I want to admit, and despite the horrible characters, the graphics, and gameplay was actually quite nice. I'd love to see more of that type of FPS.
@Perun: Oh yeah RED was amazing, how they explained why he talked in such an odd way. The impact at the end... yes, pretty amazing, what they did with so limited a budget and resources (no dramatic big cg cutscenes)
@TheCug: no worries, you can't fake your fears if you've not had them.
@TheCug: Did the movie Alien scare you?
@Perun: Spoiler here but there is an enemy in deadpsace 2 you can't kill, and there is a section i believe it is chasing you through and area that is pretty tense.
@UglyZombie: I'm really not digging him having a voice either. Although the characters in the 2 games so far have been really good. What I have see of Isaac doesn't appeal. The silent character was far more interesting and fit with the atmosphere of the game better.
@viciousarcanum: I like how people confuse their own perspective on the world with everyone else's.
@Mad-Hobo: Damn fine game, and I recommend their first 2 games. Personally Black Plague scared me more than Amnesia has so far (about 3 hours in)
For all the people who say DeadSpace wasn't scary (at all), I'd like an example of a game you did find scary.
@Derangel: See, I don't find Amnesia as scary as Black Plague, which scared the crap out of me.
@RiotControl: Quake 4 was my favorite Quake SP game. Quake 1 was eh, Quake 2, was just not that interesting, and mostly a chore to complete.
Personally I'm not interested, but I don't see the validity in kneejerking this to equate to "pay to play."
@DaveKap: I'd also like to know if it can utilize your PC as a DVR through this device?
You know I just finished reading this and realized I'm on Kotaku, and not Gizmodo....
@Jonathan Wills: I believe MS has some policy or such in place that the DLC has to be a certain price if it is a certain size.
