@Salehuddin Husin: he did the artwork for the motion comics? yeah second that terrible.... They at first killed my interest in DeadSpace, then I listened with out seeing the hideous art, and realized it was still well done.
the description sounds vaguely like that Unreal Championship 2 for the xbox, that and a bit of Brink?
@hameed67: If you struggled with the first game, the second one isn't going to be worth your time. It doesn't sound like this type of thing is your type of thing.
@Bleemo: I'm playing the resurrection of evil, and really these were very good games. Great atmosphere and sound (well the guns are a bit weak).
@-MasterDex-: I'm not sure it is. I believe it was an engine designed to run cross platform (meaning consoles too), where Crytek 2 could not run well enough on consoles. I.e. it was designed to get Crysis like experience (and some added bells and whistles probably too) on all platforms.
@Bleemo: I did too, but having problems running it in wide screen 1920x1080 mode , even with the modified cfg file info I found. Did you get this to work?
@VincentGrey: this is such an odd thing to say about a Id game. Id games aren't usually complicated in the gameplay department, in fact they tend to be the most simple in this regard. Their focus tends to be on mind blowing visceral experiences.
@brokenfang: Many many years ago (basically when rainbow six came out), I had wanted a game that played like rainbow six but was a very deep story driven survival horror.
@bioball: I think it's called bioshock because they need to maintain a brand recognition and strong connection to the series which has sold well.
@Amnesiac85: I liked it a lot more than I thought would. Somethings felt a bit forced near the end, but there was some really nice moments. Unfortunately I do feel it took away from the dramatic impact of Rapture as whole.
@Nexus6: I loved system shock, but really from a story/setting stand point it's a bit old and cliche now.
@RepeatDisc: who is to say we aren't on one right now.
@(Zombie) WDYC: you can off course switch to offline mode, but you have to be online when you do it :)
@Vonhert: on paper the game is amazing, and has everything you'd want in a team based game.... however I found the earth forces pretty dull weapons and vehicles wise
@LordPants: I imagine this would be faster and closer to a mouse like in control actually. Implementation? No idea.
@dragonfliet: I happened to like it more than bf2 for the way they did classes, and vehicles, other than the bizarre reason to make APCs (that looked amphibious), not be amphibious.
@shufflemoomin: Wasn't the 80 gig one with BC using primarily software emulation?
@dragonfliet: it definitely needs it. My friends and I played Alan Wake first and then went to Heavy Rain (I had already gotten about half way through it) and we all felt that heavy rain did a much better job in making the characters act and speak realistically.
