To be completely honest I love the Super Mario movie but I also understand how awful it is - I just seem to like really bad movies for what they are. I grew up on 80s action with my dad and B horror with my brother. . .But even this Sonic movie looks way beyond “awful/fun” for me.

True, and it was a good movie - But the world around Pikachu is live-action built into a pokemon world. As opposed to Sonic being put specifically onto Earth.

I see this working in an animated series. I don’t see it working in a live action movie where it’s just going to look like sonic has been superimposed into a real world.

What I think is blowing my mind here is outside of Sonic’s design [which is awful]. They’ve taken Sonic and put him in the real world. . In some kind of military Earth movie - And somehow Jim Carrey becomes Dr. Robotnik/Eggman?

Yea I made a mistake on the year, as I get older my frame of reference sucks [and I’m only 32!]. I remember leaving SWG to play WoW Beta and ironically to my post I actually stopped playing in 2006 when my guild, people I had been playing with for like 4 years [SWG] broke apart a few days before my Birthday.

The only thing I really didn’t like about Smash Brothers this time around with the unlocks is that there are roughly 60 characters to unlock and there is a very set order to those unlocks on just time based unlocks - Not counting specific win condition unlocks [which are different] or doing spirit mode.

I didn’t go - And honestly I was excited enough about Warcraft III even though I’m disappointed in no real new releases being announced.

But now imagine Bioware is hosting a big trade show and you decide to pay a few hundred bucks for a ticket, a few hundred bucks for a plane ticket and a few hundred bucks for a hotel. You take 4 days off from work and travel to a trade show where big news is normally announced.
