I only have the one slide in controller for the switch. While I’d normally agree with you [and this may be why I never noticed it on say the SNES] on the slide in thing I have the D-pad is just in an odd place for normal use.

Been playing and reliving my childhood which is nice, currently up to X4. I have noticed some input lag on the Switch but have found through browsing reddit if you turn off the wallpaper and the smoothing out of graphics most of that is gone.
You’re correct in that the flame tanks in Storm Eagle’s level can be taken out by a buster, they just take more shots than most people [in those days] would be willing to commit to it because you’d assume invulnerability by that time.
I didn’t find this to be the case at all playing on Hard, and I don’t normally play these types of games that much anymore nor do I pretend to be very good at them. .. By the end of the game troll fights took a couple of seconds with how insanely strong you can make Kratos - I rarely used block myself and for all the…
Reminds me of the original FFXIV. . .
Gotta agree with you - I honestly love clickers dating all the way back to Anti-Idle 2, which is a tad bit of irony because it was one of the first strong contenders in the idle genre. . .In general I’ll spend about 3-6 months playing any particular one and usually spend between $5-$10 in support of developers. CoTLI…
I have no problem with offering cosmetic aspects for a few bucks - Adds nothing to the game and I’m not obligated to purchase it so if I choose not to I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything.
Maybe you should read my post because I agree that THAT type of DLC is awful. . That also isn’t all types of DLC. . I’ll use Mortal Kombat as a good example because I did the numbers for another reply. .
Mortal Kombat 3: 15
I don’t hate DLC, I actually really like it when it’s done well. Take for example fighting games, I know we all wish our favorite fighter was in every iteration but if the average amount of fighters in a game is 20 and a game gives me 25 and decides to give me 10 more via DLC over the period of a year? Uh yea, sounds…
Clone characters are a way of life, especially when you have just so large of a roster - And frankly it’s apparent in just about every single fighting game ever. It’s just a nice way for them to expand the roster and give everyone the character they want. . .In general each of the “clone” characters do have minor…
Games as a service really isn’t bad when it’s done right - I mean this is basically Netflix but with EA’s library of games. . .It’s a pretty fair deal if you plan on playing EA games. . .I personally haven’t bought one since the Sims 4 and who knows what the last one was before that.
Everyone knows Dragons Love Tacos, not burgers.
Bought some kind of weird African Prickly fruit at my grocery store a few weeks back. We just wanted to try something new and figured why not, it was like $5/lb. When we got to the checkout we forgot what it was called and our cashier was baffled. . .So she called over someone else who was also baffled. . .Rung it up…
It’s insane how desensitized to some things we are and how fine we are with other things - Keeping in mind that it’s all literally pretend, killing a child in a video game for some reason is far worse in our heads than dropping a nuke on an area and killing many people, including children.
I saw this on the update when I went to go see Infinity War and while you may have been able to see a movie multiple times before that I distinctly remember this being part of the terms when I purchased the subscription 4 months ago. Personally I think it’s fair.
Right but Thanos believes that killing these people brings balance to the universe because the Universe has a finite amount of resources. So maybe having the stones doesn’t allow him to create new matter so much as it would allow him to shift around what is already in the vastness of space. . .And killing half of the…
Having never read a single comic other than one issue of Death of Superman you have to remember Dr. Strange says he’s seen 14million+ instances of the situation and only one in which they defeat Thanos. Afterwards he chooses to forgo killing Tony Stark in exchange for giving Thanos the same gem he swore he wouldn’t…
While he may bitch about how hard Z-targeting was he also states that it completely changed the dynamic of battles for the better at multiple portions of the video and takes it as an overall positive for the series.
A lot of the points he makes in the video really have nothing to do with how good a person is at game, it really is just his style. But outside of that if you really think about many of his points they do make a lot of sense - Many of the enemies of that game rely on a “wait” mechanic of just finding the exact moment…
