These are not the same devs who made Golf Story, so this game’s title is purposefully misleading. I don’t get why, though, because everything I see looks great and original. The name thing simply leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

That’s . . . how service happened. Jason Sudeikis didn’t serve Wilde; he hired someone to serve her. They decide how they do that. Case closed. What’s the deal here?
Didn’t we already have this conversation (here — https://jezebel.com/jason-sudeikis-claims-he-didnt-know-ex-olivia-wilde-wou-1848852055) and wasn’t the general consensus among the commenters that Sudeikis almost certainly didn’t have anything to do with how she was served because process servers do whatever they need…
I’m not this optimistic. The Kansas vote was a referendum, a vote on a single issue...everyone could just vote what they thought about abortion. The bigger problem we’ve had all along is that a lot of pro-choice people don’t consider it the most important issue on the table, particularly men. So if it comes to voting…
So, in this story it’s an “unborn child” ... but in every story regarding abortion laws we emphasize it’s a fetus or an embryo? How about some consistency?
Looks more like 5 were killed. We don’t need DAs (especially in Texas) using this an opportunity to count the unborn as a full person and let that stand in court. It’s the same legal basis for criminalizing abortion. Losing a woman that wanted to finish her pregnancy is certainly awful, but no reason to count the…
They say that if you listen closely, you can actually hear Peter Thiel opening his checkbook...
You pulled this out of the grays just to say that?
You have very bad, very dumb opinions.
Maybe if they made it more like Stadia, GeForce NOW & xCloud where you can play real games on a TV and/or monitor, people would be more into it.
Honestly I’m actually weirded by the outburst on this?
Like.... blurry filter aside it’s very much the original sprites.
FF6 original Mobile edition this isn’t. And like... the original pixels was mostly... fine. Not that it wasn’t quality work, it’s kind of up there imo but looking at comparison of the original SNES…
Just for comparison this is only a 28th of the amount a Florida jury awarded to a has-been pro-wrestler for getting his feelings hurt because a clip of him having sex was posted on this site’s former sister blog.
Did the jury happen to be dribbling on the table when they decided a decade long harassment campaign/conspiracy theory only merited potentially as little as 5 days revenue in terms of compensatory damages?
I don't totally hate the new look bit I also don't think it's really an improvement. That being said, this is one of my all time favorite console games, so if class progression and enemy AI are notably improved it'll be cool.
For what it’s worth, my understanding is one of the goals of the Pixel Remaster sprites was to normalize the style of all games so they all looked similar to FFIV or FFV (I forget which). It’s not a decision I agree with but at least it sounds like there was some intention behind it unlike some of the other changes…
Um, the FFVI Pixel Remaster looks perfectly fine, and doesn’t have a blurry filter on it’s sprites. Are you perhaps thinking of the iOS game version?
hoi polloi doesn’t mean “the rich”, it means “the people”, as in rabble, the common man, etc.
After reading all that - and I did read every word - I'm convinced it's a gimmick and won't last.
Every few years for as long as I can remember (and I’m in my 30s) widespread adoption of VR has been “just around the corner”. It fades out then comes into focus again. I’m not exactly holding my breath this time around either.
