I’m not sure how I feel about this. In past soulsbourne games, there would be patches and fixes here and there, but few wholesale rebalancings. I think the open world format really suits the souls-like gameplay. You can invest as much or as little time as you want in any particular boss, since being overleveled always ends up making the fight trivial

And after reading the specifics of what they’re fighting for, shit man. Apparently all of the new people working here are getting the minimum salary tier, and some people that were hired as remote workers at the time could possibly be forced to relocate to New York City.
