It’s not the slapstick that I don’t like, it’s that he doesn’t really seem to be trying to do anything interesting comedically that makes me find him boring to watch. But hey, lots and lots and lots of other people do enjoy watching him, so clearly my opinion is my own and shouldn’t dictate how he behaves. Not to

Now playing

One of the most amazing effects in the movie was how they managed to brush out Oscar Isaac’s soul leaving his body.

I’m also struggling to see the moral quandary here. The more people vaccinated = fewer overall deaths. If the vaccines are about to expire anyway, they will be wasted.

We wouldn’t have these issues if we had an actual national plan and procedure to inject everyone in the country.

Everyone in my house when we were watch TRoS basically said, “Well, that there did it: they turned the entire main cast into sociopaths.”

Everyone complaining about Luke Skywalker’s “character assassination” in TLJ should have been doubly upset over the Threepio lobotomy.

Ah yes. There’s an entire industry where people literally find joy in essentially providing free advertising for media companies, in a way that cannot ever take profits away from the sales of merch and media—and corporations just ask, “where is my cut?”, not knowing or caring that this move will just destroy said

Also second. I wait everyday for Barf Bag because it covers multiple topics, some that are smaller and overlooked. We don’t need to call it BarfBag, but if this is really going away, I’m really going to miss it. It is usually the one-stop shop for all the good comments.

I was going to comment this practically word for word, so instead I’ll just say I second all of this. xD

Sad to see Barf Bag go, but glad to know it is with hope there won’t be a need for Barf Bag.

Het Jack was a pretty good twist, and, for Femshep playthroughs at least, it hit two interesting buttons: first, it stood for the proposition that people can experiment for awhile before ultimately figuring out what their preferences really are, and second, it let Jack viscerally reclaim agency over her sexuality

Reaction from parents and conservative media will be a large factor in deciphering whether the cultural pendulum has indeed shifted enough so that a popular child celebrity coming out elicits little more than a shrug in response.”

On the flip side, I think the happiest I’ve been in any game with romance was DA2. The “everyone is compatible” approach might not be true to life, but I don’t really care. ESPECIALLY because certain kinds of characters keep getting repeated as the queer options.

It would make some people so damn angry I’m sure.

God one day I want to see a game that just rolls an invisible dice at character creation that determines what characters you can/cannot romance (with no way to change it) JUST to see how much it screws with people.

Sure, but it’s also kind of shitty when the romances are almost entirely het. In a vacuum, the idea is totally fine, but in a medium partially about power fantasies where representation is lacking.... :/

You just articulated my exact playing experience and thoughts much better than I could have. I appreciated getting turned down by Jack (and by Vivienne in Dragon Age: Inquisition). Compared to, say, The Witcher’s “if she’s female you can bang her” approach to relationships, it’s much healthier and more interesting.

Ooh! This is the kind of vaguebooking I can get behind!

I watched the whole thing and couldn’t even hear what Joan’s talking about. She sounded great.

Uhg, eat shit Joan. Lets see you sing better.
