This. I’m generally enjoying the show, but if Purgills took Ezra and Thrawn away, wouldn’t hitching a ride on them be, like, the very first strategy?

“Forward momentum?”  The first four episodes could have been compressed into one.  The pacing on the show is fairly dreadful.

I’ve noticed a certain strain of SW fan get super defensive when you deign to criticize what they love.

Two powerful people having a laugh at an underling’s expense is never awkward for the powerful and the underling hasn’t earned the right to have thoughts and feelings of their own, so no harm done.

UFS’ platform has always favored big-name actors over the rank-and-file, and that has the knock-on effect of their policies also benefitting studios over regular working actors. Drescher, like Carteris before her, is doing what UFS has always done.

I know people love a prison rape joke, but just to bring the mood down a little, I’ll say that as a victim of child sex abuse, I never for a second wished rape on my abuser. Death, absolutely. Frequently and fervently, in fact. But I don’t wish rape on anybody, and would rather hear that Danny Masterston spent the

It’s actually 30 to life, so his first eligible parole is in 2053. See ya.

30 years? He’s going to be locked almost as long as Shelley Miscavige.

*forcepalm

He could have negotiated a big up front fee, but Netflix wouldn’t pay him residuals. They won’t pay anyone* residuals. Not Paul, not The Rock, not the Russos. No one. And that’s what the strikes about.

Unfortunately it’s been pretty well established that Armstrong is a horrible person, who given any opportunity will say horrible things.

He probably holds his beliefs because of how hard he considered it to compete against other men. If he can’t maintain the level of competitive fitness in his own field without injecting himself, how can other women compete against women who inject themselves?

Right I’m confused he’s still a thing and people are still asking his opinion on anything?  He’s a known cheater.  Why is he still being hosted?

I mean, his sport is bicycling a really long time... He should probably stay in his (bike) lane when talking about any sports, regardless of gender.

It blows my mind; I was thinking the same thing about Santana last week. I think part of holding these shitty, hateful beliefs is thinking we’re on the precipice of ruin, and society will crumble if nobody says something; a big part of this hateful rhetoric is a feeling of oppression and panic.

Then Clone Wars is toddler oriented.

The thing that annoyed me about Obi-Wan was that I thought it did a good enough job justifying its own existence by telling a story involving Leia. Yeah, we knew they would both be okay, but it actually built on the fact that she seemed to know who he was in ANH. And then in that last one or two episodes it goes,

AND Luke has to run out of power converters, so he has a reason to visit Toshi station!

Obi Wan’s very existence broke canon, but your point stands.

“A loss”, in the sense of liberally reworked numbers bullshitted up for tax purposes. Part of the strikes is that we don’t actually know what shows push subscribers, nor the calculations by which the studios make these decisions, because the studios, unlike those putative steel plants, are not required by law to
