No it’s not.
No it’s not.
It’s harrassment but it’s not assault.
Neither of these incidents are assault. These are examples of a man being rejected and then backing off.
Venom needs to be connected to Spider-Man. Does he need to be connected to the Tom Holland Spider-Man with a cameo from Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man? Not necessarily. They could recast. But since Venom’s origins and powers are so closely connected to Spider-Man, it will feel inauthentic if Spidey doesn’t make an…
They really should have had an alive Obi-Wan mention Yoda in ANH, rather than having him conveniently show up as a ghost to give Luke directions in ESB. The whole Force Ghost thing is stupid and the limits of this power are never properly explained. And they never will be, because the more the characters talk about…
Exactly — Chick-Fil-A probably should be the subject of a NYC-wide boycott, but with the gay marriage issue long since settled by Obergefell, we can eat their delicious fried chicken sandwiches without knowing that we’re indirectly funding anti-gay-marriage initiatives all over the country. Nobody cares that the…
Another funny detail with the show’s timeline is that the Kristin Wiig episode established that Mike Pence was president before the virus starting killing people (he was the first president to die of the virus). But since the first episode took place in 2020, before Trump’s term is set to end, that means Trump was…
It’s been over 30 years and I still can’t watch a Tom Hanks movie without picturing him in drag.
Prince also has 1999, Little Red Corvette, and Delirious to open 1999.
The funny thing about doing this with the Beatles albums is that, with the aforementioned exceptions of Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour, it’s always a Paul song that ruins the trifecta for me.
I think the movie did explore the downside of governance based on who can beat up the king. None of the characters say it out loud, but their reaction to Killmonger’s accession is similar to how we all realized the electoral college was a horrible idea on November 8, 2016. Similarly, I thought we saw plenty of…
We’re worried about the tantrums :(
It was a spectacular feat of industrial design, not engineering. The trash can Mac does look really cool from the outside. But Apple has already admitted that the design did a horrible job of heat management, which is why they never upgraded it — that chassis forced them to throttle performance and couldn’t handle…
After TFA, there were only three in-house options for Rey’s parentage: Leia’s abandoned daughter, Luke’s abandoned daughter, or Obi-Wan’s abandoned granddaughter.
These were literally the only three options because every Jedi character has been dead for 30 years when Rey is born, and every Sith character has been dead…
Aliens with dinosaurs would have been pretty cool. Always bothered me that Spielberg had to lean so heavily on his Animal Rights message, to the point where Vince Vaughn gets dozens of people killed by preventing the Ahab character from bagging a T. Rex, but we’re supposed to root for Vince Vaughn because the…
This will pretty much finish off Apple’s move away from the “creative professional” market that they created. They’ve been alienating this market for years with the iPad-ization of macOS and the move towards iMacs and away from user-serviceable and upgradeable machines. After this switch away from Intel, all of the…
I can’t believe anyone would knock Alec Baldwin’s model town. It produces great sight gags whenever the ghosts shrink down to hang out in the model town, and I like how it becomes the couple’s only connection to the outside world after they die and can’t leave the house without being eaten by sand snakes.
General Zod was a backbencher when Superman II came out. Most audiences at the time would have been much more familiar with Bizarro or Brainiac if asked to name a non-Luthor Superman villain. But audiences cared about Zod because Terrence Stamp gives an awesome performance.
There are almost too many examples of this…
That's an idea for a one-off Batman movie. The thing with TV series is that they tend to burn out the pilot's premise within a few episodes. Ten hours of screen-time was enough to take Frodo from the Shire to Mount Doom and back, or Michael Corleone from a fresh-faced college kid to a dead elderly mob boss. After…
