It was a good game for the most part, but the practical 180 the story did 3/4 of the way through (where you suddenly play as a new character) and the ending killed it for me. It was like the writers got burnt out or were on a tight deadline and needed to throw something out there.

That is the point of the affair I assume, but it’s executed so badly. If they wanted to show Cole a falliable, they needed to build up his fall a lot better. Maybe showing us his relationship with his wife, have him talk to the lounge singer more than twice.

The whole mechanic of trying to read the suspects’ faces never really worked as well as it was intended. A lot of the time they’d be acting suspicious, but it wouldn’t be obvious if they were outright lying or just holding back information. I enjoyed the game, but it could be a real pain in the ass sometimes.

100% agree. It definitely felt like sloppy storytelling. And the story was basically the only reason to play this game. Everything else was broken, including the vaunted interrogation system. I loved the setting though.

MASSIVE SPOILERS

A great game, although I always sucked on knowing when a suspect was lying, being truthful, or whatever that third option was.

I enjoyed how they linked the whole game to the LA freeway deals in the late 40's early 50's. There was quite a bit of skullduggery involved in that in real life.

Sellout. I only shoplift from local mom & pop stores, or the neighborhood farmer’s market. Keep it in your community!

You played it on Facebook? I’m a little confused here...

Oh, the developers said they wouldn’t collect data. Well, that settles it then! /s

Didn’t we learn from last time, when similar service was selling user emails to third party? Better unsubscribe manually.

Two days in a row I’m seeing posts from you that look like you’re getting paid to write about them. This whole post is just an ad for deseat.me.

Getting the same, what a shame.

Would it have killed them to iron the tablecloths?

It feels like something like this could really be determined by when the timekeeper starts that clock.

I can assure you that NOWHERE in WV is ‘suburban’ Pittsburgh... The only people that think that are from West Virginia...
