Here in the US, the current XC90 starts at something like $40k. It would need to keep the price around here in order to be a success on our shores. Obviously the hybrid would be a bit more but the petrol savings would make up for your decision.

While I do love me some quad pipes, the V8 Badge is totally unnecessary. This thing will pump out 400hp while crushing the comp in the mpg category. Time to move forward and they are doing just that.

That would be extremely aggressive and risky...The badge doesnt command that kind of money even if the interior does. I heard initial pricing to be much lower. There is a lot riding on this SUV for Geely and Volvo, I doubt they would price it higher than an X5.
