This is the kind of delusional talk we need less of in the world.

I find it truly entertaining that the NY Daily News was the one who finally pushed for specific explanations. I suspect this next debate is gonna be little more specific than the previous softballs Sanders footed previously. Every.Single.Time. he went into this breaking up the big banks issue I was like but HOW

I’ve already done that. I’m well aware of the details. The point is it’s doesn’t make this easier to talk about without the connotations mentioned.

I already rage stroked over this, this morning. Now I’ll just let Cookie speak.

So little comments on this. I wonder why that is? I’ll bite. I hate this story because it puts people in a position of having to either defend this very convoluted story or acknowledge the thing that we don’t want to acknowledge because it puts undue pressure on women who are sexually abused or will be sexually abused

This is my exact opinion on it. I worked in the political sphere... I can tell you now 99% of it is working the system. That’s how things actually get done. I want someone who can make our ineffective system work again and innately understands it. I don’t think that’s a negative for governance or getting shit done.

Oh I hear you. Those were the people I gravitated toward in high school and college. Like I could hang with them and they understood to a large extent the struggle and could typically sing along to Nirvana on the radio with me and not look at me like I literally murdered black Jesus.

Yeah exactly. For me it came down to Googling around the area my Great Greats were from... Surname Slaves... Turned up a white person who was buried in a cemetery and next to him he had two slaves buried, white variation of the surname in question. Find a grave wrongly attached my great grandfather’s name to one of

Seriously thank you for saying that. This whole pure white dove shit about Bernie is bat shit. You can’t be in politics and be a pure white dove.

This entire primary season is changing my opinion on so many people.

Yeah I got crazy into Genealogy, I feel much more connected to my history. Putting the names to the faces and realizing how ridiculously complicated a lineage it is, is kind of an awesome feeling.

I was too black for the white kids, too white for the black kids. Judgement on all sides. It’s rough growing up like that. Be strong in who you are, no one can take your history from you.

They get to be whatever they want.

What that means is no black person is counting the white person who violated their ancestor as a factor in identifying them self as Biracial. Does that make sense? There are many black people who don’t know that person actually existed... My father was one of those. I got to call him and say GUESS WHAT YOU’RE PART

Two races. Typically White and Black. And you self identify as a Black person.

I’m a Biracial Black woman. Who has effectively traced her ancestry to discover several hundred additional white folks in the part of my tree that was supposed to be non white. Got a DNA test done... I’m related to far more American white colonists than I should be since my other side was early 20th century immigrants

Yeah I just think you’re not trying to hear the words I’m saying I just don’t see this the same way. All of the elements that make it Grimdark are the elements of the film I enjoyed. You did not enjoy them. Both of these are opinions that are fine to have. I just think that some of this “tonal” argument is just not

As i said earlier the Grim Dark Criticism... Is thin. Because the darkness wasn’t the problem. It was the thinness of the story. The darkness of it and the imagery that was all great, or some of the greater bits in the movie. It was the plot development and movement that needed help.

I don’t think either of those movies were darker than the Nolan movies that were also criticized for being... wait for it... Dark and not kid appropriate and humorless. These things have been said before about DC movies. So I don’t get this complaint. Everyone loved those Batman movies. They were dark as hell.

The sad part of this is, we’re acting like a museum of African American History, wouldn’t need Cosby at least to fill a space. The fact that you can only name a handful of Black TV shows worthy of remembering is the thing that should also make us sad, not just that us black people have to in some degree hold on to
