Your point only makes sense if Turkey could somehow put pilots in the S-400 and fly ‘em. As it sits, they just need to find a new airplane to fly now ... after pouring billions into the program and getting nothing to show for it.

Oh, man. So the closest thing to this in a Porsche is probably a 718GTS— only 414HP, mid-engine, BASE version. That’s $99 Grand— and try to find a “base” Porsche anywhere.

The engine, power figures, transmission and gearing ought to be the same between the base and Z51 packages, so 0-60 ought to be near identical.  The Z51 should see improvements in braking and grip.

I respectfully disagree. Here’s why:

The NSX wasn’t ever quite bargain performance... I think they started at around $80k even back then. This thing is in a much cheaper segment, while offering performance faaaar surpassing anything even remotely close in price.

You seem to down rate the F35 Program more often than you praise it. Yet as of right now it’s the only real game in town. They’re flying a ton of F-16s now but are stockpiling spare parts if the US turns off the tap of available parts in the future.
